@Femi_Sorry @EE Hi @EE, I was on Orange since I started using mobile phones and switched to you almost as soon as you took them over. But I will switch service provider immediately if you give in to this fascism. #cherishfreedom

  • NotTHESteveNash
Steve Nash (@NotTHESteveNash) reported from Trowbridge, England

@littlenaughty38 @MarcAllera @EE After almost 4yrs of promises that it would improve at my home, I was told that it was not going to happen and tech support said “as you are near the end of your contract, you know what to do....leave!” Left for #vodafone, better coverage, speeds and can make/take calls at home!

  • Mrsafrica2006
Gillian Elson (@Mrsafrica2006) reported from Melksham, England

    @EE seems I never got the #emergencyalert

  • AdzCrawford2003
Adam Crawford (@AdzCrawford2003) reported from Bathford, England

@EE you can actually give a timeframe on network issues unlike @VodafoneUK who take 2 months to fix problems. That’s what I call quality. Glad to be working for you and @btcareers this year on my apprenticeship.

  • flikQ
ジ Gavin Weeks (@flikQ) reported from Bathford, England

@antinbath @EE @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK Their service when travelling is second to none as well, never paid a penny for it!

@EE Disappointed? More like ripped off? Buy a new phone and SEPARATELY buy a new plug? So far,so #unsustainable I was told what a loyal, wonderful customer I was for staying with EE but failed to mention I needed a ruddy new plug!!! How? From where? What if I had limited mobility?

  • mikedjackson
Mike Jackson (@mikedjackson) reported from Yate, England

@EE has anyone from #EE ever travelled from Bristol to Manchester by train and experienced quite the worst connectivity I have ever seen in the UK - not even 3G for the majority of the journey! Looking forward to @Blu_Wireless providing #5G powered trackside Wifi in future.

  • RestoreBath
Restore Bath (@RestoreBath) reported from Bathford, England

@EE Waited week & half for new phone: it comes WITHOUT A PLUG? which has to be PURCHASED SEPARATELY?!! I cant use the handset I have signed up for. Unbelievable. Also, what a waste of plastic - what am I supposed to do with the perfectly good old one? @Ofcom #Sustainability fail

  • k_tbproductions
kris (kTbproductions) (@k_tbproductions) reported from Hullavington, England

  • adz232
Adam Crawford (XBOX AMB) (@adz232) reported from Bathford, England

@EE A lot of what you said is bs as your 5G is just another 4G network but slightly faster.

  • Aaronj5558
Aaron (@Aaronj5558) reported from North Bradley, England

@EE I’m having trouble accessing #MyEE is there a problem with it generally or just my account? :)

  • RichProwse
Rich Prowse (@RichProwse) reported from Batheaston, England

@EE No it didnt. This is the same albeit slightly modified solution that @GoogleUK suggests. Neither solution has worked. I have also tried a factory reset. I will try a new SIM and let you know what happens!

  • RolandMillward
Roland Millward (@RolandMillward) reported from Trowbridge, England

    Luke Maguire (@_LukeMaguire) reported

    @JacobiteJen Which network? I’m like this with @EE 😒

  • Hodbow
    Alan's daughter the super supporter⚫⚪ (@Hodbow) reported

@EE my daughter signed up for your broadband on the basis of getting an iPad for £100. She has an email promising a text/email after the cooling off period. This has never materialised. She’s been into store & called and your staff couldn’t be more unhelpful.

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • mk_hostile17
    MK 🇬🇧 (@mk_hostile17) reported

@GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE Conventional PSTN is being shut down. Conventional landlines are now delivered over your broadband connection. Your conventional telephone plugs in to the router and voice calls are digital Broadband connection may be fixed wireless access but this has got nothing to do with WiFi

  • zombiestyled
    TheGreatCordwainer (@zombiestyled) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Personal use satellite radios on their way. CB radio. Personal use batteries. Could be considetrd a backwards step, but copper line phones were never power free magic.

  • ArtilleryMan728
    Mark (@ArtilleryMan728) reported

Why is it I reside 12 miles North from the centre of Cardiff and have 2 sim cards in my phone on different networks but only receive a 5G and 4G signal? I travel thousands of miles to the tiny Greek island of Skiathos and receive 5G and 5G. Can someone explain why that is. I am guessing there are still insufficient 5G masts outside of Cardiff. @EE @tescomobile

  • ScotDommesSlave
Princess Amira ***** Boy (@ScotDommesSlave) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Virgin did these like 4 years ago. On the odd occasion the wi-fi is down my elderly parents who can only use a landline are unable to call anyone.

  • WanderingIan
    Ian Dickerson (@WanderingIan) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Most people have a cordless phone in their home. If the power went out it becomes useless. Only corded phones work in a power outage

  • JTXbox
    JT (@JTXbox) reported

@marcusoft365 @EE @XBOX I am also an EE customer, but financial circumstances atm I cant even afford the extra £80 atm even though thats an absolute steal, congrats on getting one, I managed to get the controller on Smyths though.

  • UKMondoMan
    Simon James 🚂 (@UKMondoMan) reported

@EE Issue now resolved. Not the outcome I was looking for but a fair compromise.
