Restore Bath (@RestoreBath) reported from Bathford, England@EE Waited week & half for new phone: it comes WITHOUT A PLUG? which has to be PURCHASED SEPARATELY?!! I cant use the handset I have signed up for. Unbelievable. Also, what a waste of plastic - what am I supposed to do with the perfectly good old one? @Ofcom #Sustainability fail
-
Mick Dundee (@imlost187) reported from Malmesbury, England@EE Yes. Just FYI this will now be the 10th time ive been 'advised' to reset my network settings. This issue has been going on for well over a year. Every staff member here avoids EE for this reason. Its clearly a coverage issue rather than a device specific one.
-
Restore Bath (@RestoreBath) reported from Bathford, England@EE Disappointed? More like ripped off? Buy a new phone and SEPARATELY buy a new plug? So far,so #unsustainable I was told what a loyal, wonderful customer I was for staying with EE but failed to mention I needed a ruddy new plug!!! How? From where? What if I had limited mobility?
-
Rich Prowse (@RichProwse) reported from Batheaston, England@EE No it didnt. This is the same albeit slightly modified solution that @GoogleUK suggests. Neither solution has worked. I have also tried a factory reset. I will try a new SIM and let you know what happens!
-
Steve Nash (@NotTHESteveNash) reported from Trowbridge, England@littlenaughty38 @MarcAllera @EE After almost 4yrs of promises that it would improve at my home, I was told that it was not going to happen and tech support said “as you are near the end of your contract, you know what to do....leave!” Left for #vodafone, better coverage, speeds and can make/take calls at home!

-
Malcolm Cupis (@EvelKeevil) reported from Keevil, England@Femi_Sorry @EE Hi @EE, I was on Orange since I started using mobile phones and switched to you almost as soon as you took them over. But I will switch service provider immediately if you give in to this fascism. #cherishfreedom

EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Elizabeth Gordon (@Elizabe91626828) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE It is very scary for us with poor or non existent mobile reception. In a real emergency - power cut, fire etc we would be scuppered.
-
beth (@loisgriff_) reportedAnyone else not got service on ee? I haven’t had service since last night. @EE
-
Maisie the Tortie / Margaret 🇬🇧🇨🇦 (@maisiethetortie) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE We had no landline, no internet and no mobile signal last week due to issues with Vodafone . I had to walk up the road and basically shout my account details at someone to try and fix it. What would happen if there was an emergency? I couldn’t call 999.
-
Linda Knott 🏴 (@L1ND4K) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE I resisted swapping out my copper for fibre for a long time exactly because of this. I live at the end of the line as far as services are concerned and have learned the hard way over the years. Can't rely on WiFi as there are often breaks in the electricity and poor or no signal.
-
leilani dowding 🌸🚜 ☮️ (@LeilaniDowding) reported@stuuk11 @EE That’s my point. What happens if you need to call ambulance police or fire engine. Or ca a neighbour for help. It’s so dangerous
-
Craig Johnson (@j300hno) reportedIs it me or has @EE signal went utterly 💩 these past few months. Absolutely shite sort it out
-
Yasmin Stafford (@YasminStafford) reportedJust been told my complaint has been closed without being given any update or resolution??? @EE
-
Jules (@julesw1lko) reportedAnyone had .@EE chop the phone line of an elderly relative without consent ? What did they do about it? @Ofcom any input ? I am absolutely raging that a 90 year old has had her phone line chopped (a number she’s had for oh, 60 years). And the customer service are not great
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

DorothyNot 🕷💜🤍💚 (@DorothyNotD) reported@EE I’ve been trying to contact you for 2 days, when I finally got a very slow responding chat they agreed to raise a complaint…what is this text about? I SHOULD NOT have to get in touch again to keep my complaint open.
