Arthur Assendune 🇪🇺💙🇺🇦 (@ArthurAssendune) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Yes Tom, but the objective is to maximize profit NOT provide you with a functioning service. Golden rules of Capitalism: 1. Charge the maximum you can get away with. 2. Deliver the least you can get away with.
-
Buzzard Capital (@BuzzardCapital) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE 2010-2024. More things your government did **** all about. Sit down and shut up. Catch you tomorrow with your next hypocritical whinge.
-
Martin Jones (@Jones2204Jones) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Cambridge is meant to be our tech capital, but half the city has terrible coverage. And if you if you enter a building anywhere in town, its almost non-existent.
-
Gav Marten (@gavmarten) reported@BidSurreal @EE @TomTugendhat It’s mainly because our 4G mast equipment is old and oversubscribed. They aren’t updating them, blaming slow networks on delayed 5G rollout. However, 4G speeds are decent enough for most tasks.
-
Matt Jones (@mttjon) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Marylebone hardly has any signal either I got way better signal in the countryside in Indonesia than in parts of major UK cities
-
Richard Bentall #FBPE @richardbentall.bsky.social (@RichardBentall) reported@drew_carver @EE I've been looking into that. I am just annoyed that their service is so sh*t.
-
Charlie Papa SixSix 🚃🚄🇬🇧 (@GrumpyGit1960) reported@robbopalmer @EE Was out of contract after 8 years, and I've binned them off after a charade where a fibre order was cancelled 3 times coz Openreach CBA. Formal complaint seemed promising but when passed to their 'Value' team, price offered was £10 more than for a new customer. It was nuts.
-
Charles Small (@C_Small_) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I've had better signal on top of a volcano in Indonesia than in parts of London with O2
-
Tom Tugendhat (@TomTugendhat) reportedI’m in Dulwich. One of the more expensive areas of London, supposedly a global city, and I’m getting worse mobile phone reception that I did in Kabul a decade ago. I pay for two contracts: @O2 and @EE and neither is reliable so I can’t work. Mobile phones are useless in vast areas of Britain and have got worse. You can never work on a train, unlike in France. But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings. This government is prioritising virtue signalling vanity projects when we need infrastructure urgently.
