2/2 - have spoken to @EE who tell me that 2 local cell sites have been down since the beginning of last year and that they have no plans to resolve the issue. This is despite them putting a cell site directly opposite us. Off to Voda. Advising 310 others to do same. Cheaper too.

@ee I don’t understand why having a price cap should stop me from ringing landlines when I’ve not needed to even use the price cap? I’m ok but this seems pretty bad for people budgeting every penny during a cost of living crisis?

@EE thanks for completely blocking both phone line on my mobile. I was after help. Now I’ve not a clue what to do. Lucky enough data is still working. Never get help for two lines on one phone. Cos it’s not gonna happen. Visit EE store. See if they can help.

@EE Any reason why I can get 100mbps in one room, and zero in the next room? Im about 100 yards from a phone mast. OL4 3DE. Signal usually OK.

@EE They close the call centres and the website doesn’t even let you get notified of the networks status because that too is broken! Will 999 call still work? How about my sick grandmother in Barnsley hospital, how is she supposed to contact anyone?

@EE data on my phone is really hit and miss - it either does or doesn’t work. I have tried resetting my network settings but that made no difference. What else can I do? It’s an iPhone 13 on the latest iOS

So when your number is spoofed meaning that a hacker closes your account and use your number to try and rob money from your bank account whilst leaving you without a phone until you buy PAYG SIM until they fix it, all @EE do is say sorry and add a security Q. Doesn’t seem right.

@bt_uk so I been with @EE for years yet had problems from 1st week. Ee sent engineer out 2weeks ago showed me how unstable connection is saying 1 of worse he ever seen ee would have to get bt out. Then he told ee no problems can u fix it and I change from ee to you ????

@EE Hi Jamie. The status checker is fine. However I’m having intermittent problems with videos stopping and starting/buffering on things like tiktok, Instagram not loading up properly or stories not opening for example
