EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
businessdragonseye (@mentorthedragon) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE That ship has sailed. The old analogue phone network is being switched off in January. Either you have a mobile as backup or you buy a battery backup. (Uninterruptable Power Supply UPS). BT/EE or whatever their name is this week will supply them for vulnerable people.
-
Alan's daughter the super supporter⚫⚪ (@Hodbow) reported@EE my daughter signed up for your broadband on the basis of getting an iPad for £100. She has an email promising a text/email after the cooling off period. This has never materialised. She’s been into store & called and your staff couldn’t be more unhelpful.
-
Emma-Jane 🇬🇧 (@Cadisbikes) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE This has been forced on my father. So the power goes out, he lives in the middle of nowhere, no mobile phone signal unless he treks out into a field and up to the highest point,.perfect for a man in his 80s. Easy target for thieves, cut power, no 999 can be rang.
-
Andy (Honk Honk) Robertson (@AndyRob04327914) reported@ee why are so utterly terrible. BT want even this bad. You've added a layer of extra awful to what was already a very expensive service.
-
Pippa Jones (@pippaliciousj) reportedTurns out my cleaner has the same network that everyone who's had phone issues in my town has had: @EE . At least my network is fine.
-
DorothyNot 🕷💜🤍💚 (@DorothyNotD) reported@EE I’ve been trying to contact you for 2 days, when I finally got a very slow responding chat they agreed to raise a complaint…what is this text about? I SHOULD NOT have to get in touch again to keep my complaint open.
-
Hurry Up Harry (@jonesxxx) reported@EE The only thing worse than "hold music", is hold music chosen by some twenty something experience specialist. You're never gonna please everyone so why not just have some bland background stuff rather than these bloody yodelling trendies?
-
MK 🇬🇧 (@mk_hostile17) reported@GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE Conventional PSTN is being shut down. Conventional landlines are now delivered over your broadband connection. Your conventional telephone plugs in to the router and voice calls are digital Broadband connection may be fixed wireless access but this has got nothing to do with WiFi
-
Lee (@smil3r5) reported@EE It’s a waste of time. These poor signal issues we speak of have existed for almost 2 years. My phone claims to have a 5G reception but doesn’t actually work. Anyway like I say, no trouble. The 2 years is almost up and I’ll be free. Good day to you 🫡
-
S (@Sarah_FireHorse) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE So the answer seems to be an emergency generator. Or you can plug starlink into a car adapter - that’s another emergency option, run it off your car battery.
