EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
MK 🇬🇧 (@mk_hostile17) reported@GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE Conventional PSTN is being shut down. Conventional landlines are now delivered over your broadband connection. Your conventional telephone plugs in to the router and voice calls are digital Broadband connection may be fixed wireless access but this has got nothing to do with WiFi
-
Andy (Honk Honk) Robertson (@AndyRob04327914) reportedAnyone else got @ee broadband issues? I'm done with them. At one point is it a breech of contract so I can bin them off.
-
ironchimp (@ironchimp) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE It’s your infrastructure, just like the old tv signal infrastructure was yours and not the damned state’s.
-
Jackson Eagleson (@Oradaman) reported@EE you're giving me hassle and a problematic contract revision, IT SHOULDNT be difficult. You keep asking for equipment return yet I haven't received new equipment. Now you say there is direct debit problems yet a DD was already in place. THINK WE ARE HEADING TO CANCELLATION.
-
Simon James 🚂 (@UKMondoMan) reported@EE Issue now resolved. Not the outcome I was looking for but a fair compromise.
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
-
À𝕓á𝕪ọ̀𝕞í (@TheDealEnvoy) reported🚨 Scam alert. Be careful out there. Hackers are getting really sophisticated. Just had an unsolicited call from 01438 989236 claiming to be @EE customer service. Sounded professional. Said they had a promotion that would bring my monthly bill down. Asked for my last name, then said I’d get a code from @EE and should read it out to “verify” I was the account holder. Checked the number that called and the number that sent the text. Instantly knew it was a scam. Called @EE myself on the official number and reported it. Never give anyone a code sent to your phone. Hang up and call the company directly.
-
TheGreatCordwainer (@zombiestyled) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Personal use satellite radios on their way. CB radio. Personal use batteries. Could be considetrd a backwards step, but copper line phones were never power free magic.
-
David Physick (@Fizzinnf) reportedWhen is @EE going to sort out its signal in #Woodbridge so it is possible to use the car parking app? Decent signal in #Felixstowe. An annoying first world problem.
-
Theophilus “Forensic” Wildebeest 🥦 (@PWildebest) reported@FreddieJoh96174 @LeilaniDowding @EE Nope same issue as WiFi- router needs to be plugged into electricity
