Some days I really wish I'd kept all those calls to @JimDavisOnAir on my freeview box. I've been sent way back in time with a USB memory stick, a few years back with some calls. Damn, I really miss those days with the song choice and #JimDavisLive And it was just brilliant radio

Question for arts people. We don’t use Freeview as our signal is much more reliable using Apple TV through our internet connection. Is there a way I can get @SkyArts via Apple TV?

  • PlexNetflix
Martin Phillp 🔶 (@PlexNetflix) reported from Camberwell, England

My broadband has gone down, so stuck watching QVC on Freeview.

@virginmedia really poor show all TV channels drop out just as the snooker semifinal is about to finish #freeview why not.

@FreeviewAdvice I’ve been experiencing a lot of poor quality imaging/interruptions of my freeview in my area, Chingford, London. Also I’ve been able to DM you and I’m not sure why the system is not enabling it. It doesn’t bring up your company when I try

Precisely and if the BBC want to discontinue running the freeview service and save money on upkeep of the transmitters why do we have to pay the licence fee. If you decide to only watch non BBC live channels online which you pay for by having broadband then the licence is wrong.

  • PriyamvadaGopal
    Priyamvada Gopal © (@PriyamvadaGopal) reported

@TimFost2561 So if you cancel the license, you also can't access other freeview stuff, or am I completely off-base there?

  • Wyfan2
The Wilder Way - Patrick Wymark Boardroom (@Wyfan2) reported

So the advantage of Freely is that unlike Freeview, when my internet goes down I also lose my TV. Technology continues to improve our lives.

  • ASouthen91055
    Travis Parkins (@ASouthen91055) reported

@Luke_Jahn_ I am wondering how prepared you are for prison life. internet access is strictly limited. In cell tv is basic Freeview. That does include Channel 4 so Naked Attraction can help while away the lonely evenings.

  • Lost_In_Films_
    LostInFilms🎬 (@Lost_In_Films_) reported

@Hi_De_Helen Apparently it's going to get worse all down to Sky but how does that include Freeview losing them too 🤔 All I could find out from Google search piece about it in Sun today.

  • gsg2590
    GSG2590 (@gsg2590) reported

@JoshCF_ They're a joke now, two years ago the deal was £45 with basic freeview and Sky Q and now it's £63. They've also ended customer support on here and UK based customer calls. The app regularly messes up now, doesn't recognise you've paid and you end up getting charged again 😑

  • mythslegendsQ
    Travel/Food Quizzes (@mythslegendsQ) reported

@therosebudpod @GylesB1 Whistle Down The Wind, a charming film with Hayley as a child actress who discovers 'Jesus', is actually on TV tonight. (Talking Picture, Channel 82 Freeview)

  • timbcaycgi
365 Days of Dave (@timbcaycgi) reported

@ChrisHazzardSF My understanding is that RTE services work on the Freeview platform via terrestrial signal deep beyond the boarder counties. With RTE themselves saying that the signal strength is high in the boarder region and moderate beyond

  • Smeeghee
    Andy.✝️🇬🇧 (@Smeeghee) reported

@GBNEWS Why don’t you broadcast in HD on Freeview!! Ffs, it looks crap compared to Sky!

  • KeepingKen
    KennyBilly (@KeepingKen) reported

Over 13 million households across the UK currently rely on Freeview - and residents could be forced to fork out an additional £20 monthly and potentially purchase a new television set if the service is discontinued, experts have cautioned.
