Time for the BBC to close down the BBCNews channel as they always seem to put it on BBC1 at same time WHY as BBCNews is available on sky freesat and freeview you dont need it on BBC1

@bt_uk I got a problem it's not my fault and it's not BT issue I lost a lot of Freeview channels in my flat I went to no cancel and said you can have a dish because aerials are very bad in your area where you live we've had a lot of people coming to us about the same problem

@virginmedia once again trying to contact virgin media is a no go a proper waste of time contract has run out trying to cancel they have put the money up to £60 a month for basically 2 freeview boxes I have cancelled my direct debit which is due on the 7 april what a scam😡

@Stephen_Neal Good shout! If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

@channel5_tv is the worst for catch up tv via your app or freeview. Just can’t find programmes sometimes. Trying to find Sally Lindsays posh sleepover. C4, itv and BBC never ever have a problem with. I give up with C5

@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

@PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

@donmcgowan You have to admit the BBC model and size is outdated. We have lots of freeview channels that do entertainment now and it could move what it thinks is value to a subscription service while keeping a world news channel at a very minimal cost. Which could then be covered by tax.

These problems are not universal across all channels, suggesting they are tied to GB News’s broadcast quality or transmission settings rather than your TV. 📺 What’s Happening Virgin Media users have noted regular pixelation on GB News (channel 604), while other channels remain unaffected. Rebooting the TV360 box doesn’t resolve the issue, and Virgin suggests checking local service status. BT/EE TV users have also reported widespread pixelation across multiple channels, with signal quality fluctuating despite strong signal strength. Upscaling problems: On newer 4K TVs, GB News looks worse compared to older HD sets. This is likely due to poor upscaling of GB News’s relatively low broadcast resolution. Frame rate reduction: Around mid-2024, GB News lowered its broadcast frame rate, leading to “webcam-like” quality on Freesat.
