@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Bluebird0309 CllrJillHoulbrook (@Bluebird0309) reported from Chester, England

I have 100 freeview channels on my tv. Tonight they are all showing utter crap.

@TalkTV @Iromg Just catching up with the show. Gary Glitter should never have been released. Let's hope they keep him in prison this time and hopefully lose the key. As for the TV licence, the channels are free on Freeview, plus you're paying again with Virgin and sky. It should be scrapped.

  • 1Spookybooks Spookybooks (@1Spookybooks) reported

@newt_kiters I guess when I get round to actually get sky, I won’t need a dish or a set-top box or anything. I’m assuming it will come straight through the TV through the Internet. The trouble is I don’t watch a lot of TV I’m usually listening to music or out walking. Only Freeview

  • DawsonsLeftPeg Error404 (@DawsonsLeftPeg) reported

@Elliot_CB @LeeAndersonMP_ No I pay for the things you don’t get with the “free service”. Like the sky compared to freeview. That fact you can’t figure that out shows the level you’re working with. Try harder.

  • SophFigueira95 Sophie. ⚓💙 (@SophFigueira95) reported

Usually use my actual Freeview but think the temperamental weather is causing a few breaking up issues. 🙄😒 Definitely think I'm in a bit of a delay. #BeyondParadise

  • danny___puppy Super Weenie (@danny___puppy) reported

@BenRoddison @mashcore4mums @kianworld Pokemon TV is a free service and Pop is a freeview channel, so that REALLY helps keep the costs down with this list

  • pumpkingirl89 MelissaW🌸🩸 (@pumpkingirl89) reported

@FreeviewAdvice My mum lives at LL11 6UN and since yesterday her and her neighbours have had trouble picking up the majority of the freeview channels. Is there any work in the area that has caused this?

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@colin1951uk The investment is partly in hogging empty Freeview channel numbers in the 60s,70s and 80s, so if anyone wants to launch a new service and doesn't want bumping off to the 90s on the channel list, they'll have to strike an EPG trade deal, earning That's TV a nice sum of money.

  • UnknownDB64 Ben (@UnknownDB64) reported

@FreeviewAdvice hi iv just brought a new tv it has freeview play iv plugged in a internal Aerial but it’s not finding any channel when doing a full retune please help thanks

  • G8CYK G8CYK (@G8CYK) reported

@Chris_Hill_Bsc @FreeviewAdvice It's not really good enough is it? But Freeview was never going to work reliably once most of the broadcast spectrum was sold to cellular companies. The BBC, Freeview and Ofcom have a major problem and are basically forcing everyone to use online.
