If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

The People's Foxy 🦊 (@BrexitFoxy) reported@Sir_Woofingtons If you want to pay for it, shouldn't there be a choice enabling you to do so, but others not to do so? I don't see why they just don't go ad-funded on Freeview like every other network, with the option of subscription on iPlayer for ad-free catch-up and premium content.
