@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@christop_hall @virginmedia Yes. Had Virgin cable TV for a number of years and enjoyed it but costs kept rising. When I reduced services the cost went up! So decided to cancel and just do Freeview. Then the real "leaving problems" began. Nightmare. Never regretted going though and Freeview is fine.

@NMBCo @hardistymark Pretty sure East Midlands Today is a standard definition signal slapped into an HD channel. Just got freeview to save money, back to the ol’ ‘High Def not available in your area’ message. If we want to see our news broadcasters in high def, we have to see them down the pub.

@FreeviewAdvice @Becca5489 Its our Sky signal 2, both Sky & Freeview has no signal, im in a council flat & they r responsible for our TV signals, we think someone has cut the cables as my neighbours tv signals have gone too, ive called council & they are gona get someone out. @UKChristmasTV Full listings now on Freeview guide too. I notice that a shopping strand on HobbyMaker has a Closing Down Sale, I guess they may have noticed that there is more demand for content on Sewing Street and Hobby Maker on the channel.
