@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@JackEDavies Hi, Jack. Sorry to hear that you're having problems with Freeview Play. What's happening when you're trying to use the service? Fraser

  • bh_bryn Bryn (@bh_bryn) reported from Roby, England

WiFi is down, only got Freeview TV. It's like living in 2011. Barbaric. Thank God there's football on ITV.

  • timporteruk Tim Porter (@timporteruk) reported

@DanWoodger Don’t get me started! They are the worst of the worst in a multitude of ways. I’ve been a Plusnet / Freeview customer ever since and would never go back to Virgin EVER! Best of luck getting out!

  • Jamesalk3 James Wilkinson (@Jamesalk3) reported

Oh joy. The United game is on ITV4 which means there are two options for those with Freeview. Either watch on ITV4 SD, which has arguably the worst picture quality of any channel, or stream with a major delay on their awful @ITVX app.

  • DeniseFinkel Mrs. Deedy (@DeniseFinkel) reported

@MGMRewards MGM+ been watching a freeview on sling. Looks good. Is it a new steaming service?

  • thelmarouge thelmarouge🗨 (@thelmarouge) reported

@Starrygem4 Web said page not available. Thanks anyway Diane. The annoying thing is, I already registered months ago, but recently sign in came up for every prog and its so frustrating. I don't get tv reception where I live, so can't watch on freeview. Why do we have to sign in at all?

  • stormcab stormcab (@stormcab) reported

@journeymanstev1 Dumped years ago. Just get freeview HD. All those 100s of extra channels you never watch anyway

  • h_polba Helen Polba (@h_polba) reported

@Michi_Midge Is this for television? We got rid of Sky Years ago as we realised what we watched was mostly available on Freesat and Freeview. We’ve never had wifi through them, we have Plusnet.

  • Platinumshuu ✦ Platinum ✦ (@Platinumshuu) reported

@Bigpikachu1 @menarepretty @CosmonautMarcus You're legally required to hold a TV license if the house has a TV, I think is what you're thinking. Sky is not TV though, it's a service that has Freeview TV (actual, default TV and channels), as well as 100's more you pay for with whatever deal you signed up to them with.

@ITVXhelp @ITVX Whilst I can't comment on the above devices, I can comment on Freeview Play. The Device I baught a mere 28 days ago WILL NEVER work #ITVX even though ITV Hub is installed. Therefore, for you to state, "If your TV had ITV Hub it will automatically upgrade to ITVX." is incorrect.
