@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

@HSBC_UK i had applied for a credit card on 26 mar 2022. Called the customer care 4-5 times since then finally came to know that the application is approved, all clear from the underwriting services team, it's sitting with the banking approval team. It's been a month !!!!

@HSBC_UK what’s the point of having one branch closed in weybridge (nearest one to chertsey) and you drive all the way to Woking and the HSBC there is closed as well due to amend times. Waste off a trip and fuel! It’s not great customer service

Opened a jade account with @HSBC_UK after making a move from @StarlingBank. Very first transaction from the new account…Fail! Transaction seems to have gone thru, but get an error message saying there was a problem!Hate to compare but Starling App was so perfectly engineered

Just spent nearly an hour (mainly on hold) on the phone to @HSBC_UK , cut off 3 times, transferred 4 times, to reactivate my card after it was frozen in error, I get transferred to "someone who can help", to be cut off with an automated message that the office is now closed 🤬😡

@HSBC_UK i've been wating 8 days (6 working) for a refund to hit my account. The merchant has given me the ARN details for it too. How long is it currently taking you to process refunds? i've had to open a missing refund dispute.

@jamesburland @HSBC_UK It’s really bad. I just got a 0% balance shift card, my only product. It won’t let me make new account as it remembers my old login details from over a year ago on a current AC I no longer have. Won’t reset. Completely terrible experience.

@HSBC_UK it is quite remarkable how bad your service is! First - if you are going to freeze an account for inactivity have the courtesy to warn people before hand! Second - your complaints sheet fails in so many ways, there would be more complaints if we could!
