Trying to sort out a Power Of Attorney for my grandparents - sadly they bank with @HSBC_UK who hands down win the title when it comes to worst telephone banking - worst telephone access to local bank - and absolutely no ability to even transfer an internal call. Rubbish service.

Don't ever use the online service to open an account at @HSBC_UK . They tell you you should get a reply from us within a few days but you could end up waiting for weeks and get nothing. AVOID at all costs!
