Done by @LBGplc bank about 6m ago, who then denied the £20 list - today @HSBC_UK deducted £80 out of £100 as an ad hoc service charge. Never happened before, over 40 years. This time it’ll be law!

Ivan Alexander (@ijaen) reported from Paddington, England@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

After 8 hours today, I have not had a single human being help me on an urgent credit card issue, be it on chat or phone. Shame on you HSBC!

A very stressful experience. Perhaps HSBC should send out a new device to their custome before hand . Rubbish !
