@Eastreadingcom @HSBC_UK Honestly these opening restrictions and indeed closures are causing huge problems for people who for many reasons can’t use internet banking and can’t drive. In Caversham we used to have a full compliment of banks but now all gone and building societies.

@amcarmichaelMP says UK has sent all the wrong signals to China and that has led to the current crisis in HK. Calls on the Government to support the BBC in China & asks the Government what it is doing to respond to @HSBC_UK @StanChart support of the National Security Law.

@HSBC_UK are happy to take your money, but are making it extremely difficult for you as the customer to contact them. They can’t keep blaming Covid for their bad service....

@nw_nicholas @ChrisTMarsden I was charged loads of compounded overdraft fees back in the 00s. I’ve not heard anything about any compensation . (IE I wasn’t over my limit, but fees from @HSBC_UK Kept putting me over my limit.) Things have improved but for a while it was an impossible and stressful cycle.

@HSBC_UK Okay I am confused why this is part of the policy as original issue was cost of new ID around £20-£75 but enrolling a deed poll is £40+ so I don't understand how this policy helps people who have changed their name.
