GreenImp 3.5% 🏴🏳️🌈 #FBPE (@CarrieG979) reported from Newmilns, ScotlandHey @O2 any idea why someone added £7.50 a month insurance to my account? This wasn't requested and I don't require any as my phone is nearly 3 years old. If it breaks or dies I will just get a new one. Please refund or I will make a complaint.

-
Yeti (@yetiayrshore) reported from Loans, Scotland@O2 why has your “my o2” app decided to stop working and wants a new login? It’s always just worked when not on WiFi. I have now somehow accidentally linked my mother’s Virgin media account to my o2 account just trying to log in!

Billy Menzies (@BillyMenzies1) reported from Cumnock, ScotlandHi anyone at @O2, that’s the third time in three weeks I have had someone contacting my number stating to be from O2 and offering me 40% discount on my bill for being a great customer. All I need to do is tell them the one-time code that they get O2 to send me.
-
Gordon Haggis Currie (@GCHaggis) reported from Kilmarnock, ScotlandThis is absolutely ridiculous @O2 been over a week and still haven't got 4G signal or any kind of signal for that matter. When am I getting my signal back and not exactly happy to pay full monthly bill for not getting anything and losing business because of it.

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Paz DLXV (@paz565) reported@O2 The whole 'customer service' provided by O2 in relation to this matter has been nothing short of appalling. As O2 is now associated with Virgin Media, I will be taking the earliest opportunity available to switch the services I have with them too.
-
Mark Beardmore (@Beardmore8Mark) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Very easy solution - make the companies offer roaming to their customers when their service is poor- no infrastructure required, just a flick of a switch! Gives UK customers the same service as uk visitors much in the same way when we go overseas #roaming4all
-
Peter Alston (@paalston) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Make it the law, ofcom, that if there’s no decent reception on your chosen provider then mobiles piggyback onto a service which is actually available whenever you are, akin to the 999 thing - your mobile provider pick up the cost. Arguably just one UK network would be better
-
Paul ▶️ (@customerchamp1) reportedWho remembers when @O2 customer service was good? Since the merger with the appalling @virginmedia it's been absolutely diabolical. Trying to help a vulnerable relative, been on hold for 45 minutes 🤮🤮🤮 to reset his password. Shameful.
-
Shauney Connor (@toryshaun) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don’t come to Shropshire. In some areas like my parish signal is next to nothing. Lucky to get 3 bars on a good day!
-
Sarah Leigh (@Sarahleighstevs) reported@O2 I emailed my complaint to you. You responded by asking me to complete the complaint form as the email is not monitored. I’ve completed the complaints form but it’s not working and there is a constant error message. Pretty much sums up your customer service!!!
-
Thom Watson (@thomwatson) reported@O2 @RealToffeeCelt No you’re wrong in Selby I’ve had to buy an EE virtual sim to put alongside my O2 because there’s barely any data signal. As soon as my O2 contract is up I’m off chaps. Have been with you 15 years almost and it’s become so much worse.
-
Colm Nugent (@Wigapedia) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE At what point in time did mobile phone company investment get diverted to upgrade bike lanes? This is like complaining about the vegetable selection in Tesco being terrible, while care homes are underfunded. Tom apparently doesn't understand how a modern economy works.
-
GingaGill💙👩🏻🎓😷 (@GingaGill) reported@SarahLudford @virginmedia @O2 Yep…sadly the service has declined since the two companies merged. They blocked my account for weeks for ‘ security reasons’. ( I had changed pw & looking for new deals) No one seemed unable to unblock it. Took several phone calls/DM’s/ emails etc.
-
Nick Booth (@nicknickster) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Exactly. They all share one network of masts now so no-one has an incentive (or an ability) to provide a better service
