Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lochwinnoch and nearby locations:

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 You must see my frustration? I'm paying for a device that is no longer fit for purpose. A main feature no longer works. Your response is hoping @HuaweiUK release a fix soon. Huawei suggest I fix it myself. What has happened to customer service?

  • DavidSMcClure David McClure (@DavidSMcClure) reported from Greenock, Scotland

Hey @O2, how come you’re able to block the IMEI of a phone that isn’t even on your network then refuse to assist in the removal of that block?

  • Tamus1314 Thomas Allan (@Tamus1314) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 what an absolute joke of a service. Set up a payment plan and pay it on time just to be repeatedly disconnected. Speak to payment management 3 times in 1 week to make sure you don’t get barred….and yet again , services barred!

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I joined O2 this week and encouraged my wife to do the same. You have now screwed up her number port causing havoc in her business, damaging her livelihood and causing upset to vulnerable family we care for. Advisors just make baseless promises and lie when we call. #Fail

  • scoobyhugh8 Hugh Toner (@scoobyhugh8) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 the service is rubbish how do I go about cancelling the contract

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 What is the repairs process? I need my phone for banking etc, how would I go about getting a replacement? I'm happy with the phone apart from. This issue. As a long term o2 customer I'd expect a little help.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 It's blurry from 1x to 5x. Anything under and over works. The super Macro works. Huawei have said its a known issue they are trying to resolve via update/patch. Tried all resets. I now have a contract phone I bought for the amazing camera being useless.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 Well O2 systems are all automated. People don't sit and monitor accounts. If you requested to cancel and they have notes confirming this and they didn't do it then the issue is theirs to fix and refund. I used to be customer relations for a different mobile network.

  • Shazzermc94 sharonm (@Shazzermc94) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

Been on hold with O2 now for 48 mins @O2 customer service isn’t great today!

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 is the most atrocious customer service ever. Yesterday @O2 went through the motions of responding. Then went quiet. Today, on 3 occasions, calls to O2 have just simply terminated. One promise of email instructions did not materialise. They haven't a clue. Seriously.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 PS I have been a loyal customer for around 12 years.

  • AMontguire Andrew Montguire (@AMontguire) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 Need help with an account can’t speak to a agent on live chat as online says customer service is open until 10pm however when calling up seems not

  • FitzerOfGlasgow Niall Fitzgerald (@FitzerOfGlasgow) reported from Barrhead, Scotland

@O2 Contacted O2 several times now. Different timescale given each time. 'Another team will investigate and get back to you'. Meanwhile the damage to our business and family life gets worse. Wish we had never heard of O2

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 My phone hasn't physically broken. It's faulted, as many other P30 pro users have experienced after an update. I need the use of my phone. This is a fault due to Huawei.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 I'd be very wary of @O2. Deals are good but in my experience customer service is atrocious

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I'm still not able to make recieve calls on my new watch. I activated the esim but the watch is still showing as emergency calls only. Not connected to network.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@siward77 @HuaweiMobileUK @O2 I was thinking that. O2 are being sympathetic but beyond that no offers of any help. Huawei appear to still be in denial. Posted on their fb page and they replied and deleted my comment.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 Here we have @O2 going through the motions and doing nothing substantive to resolve my issue.

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@apakula @O2 I can't speak for them personally, however most contract T&Cs do state that after the minimum term ends its up to the customer to make contact and give notice. If its been years and you've not been looking at your bank then it's not their fault. Partial refund as goodwill maybe.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 Support had suggested clearing caches, deleting data, restarts etc. All tried. All failed. There are no service centres here in Scotland to take the phone to. There is clearly an known issue that has affected many p30 pro users after updates. It would appear to be firmware.

  • _ellieS Ellie Shepherd (@_ellieS) reported

@O2 I need a useful human to contact me ASAP about my number port that hasn’t completed correctly. I have been trying to resolve this since 18th August, your “customer support” staff are useless! If this isn’t resolved today I will cancel this contract and move to Vodafone!

  • Stevemcka steven mckaveney (@Stevemcka) reported

@_ellieS @O2 Exact same problem. Absolutely useless

  • alilouherts Alison D (@alilouherts) reported

Sat with a friend last night, we both went to google something we couldn’t remember the name of, she starts swearing at her phone because of the **** signal, whilst she’s sweating I find the answer, thank god I had @O2 with good signal whereas she had a very poor 1 bar on @EE

  • veritas5000 F Columbo (@veritas5000) reported

Stupid @O2 illegally handing customer data on to third parties who cold-call you, stupid fooking crooks, @iconews should prosecute the filthy rats. >> 01612749218 = SCAMMERS, #UNIVERSALSQUARE CALL CENTRE, ARDWICK MANCHESTER. BUNCH OF TAXI DRIVERS WORK THERE DURING LUNCH TIME.

  • KaraHealthSci Kara Mackenzie (@KaraHealthSci) reported

@virginmedia @O2 was told to go into an O2 store or pay to get my existing mobile unlocked so that I can get a verification code, said they would send an email (which didn't come through even when I tried confirming my email address they couldn't do anything.) Cancel DD with bank?

  • saraharmitage80 Sarah Armitage (@saraharmitage80) reported

@o2 disgusting customer service!!! Can’t port a number over and can’t sort out the problem and managers incapable of ringing you back!

  • frantomlinson92 Francesca Tomlinson (@frantomlinson92) reported

@O2 It says We couldn’t process your payment Sorry, it’s not been possible to take your payment. Your phone has not been topped up. Please try again or use another card. If the problem continues you’ll need to contact your bank.

  • apuleius Joanna Atkin (@apuleius) reported

@o2 help I’m on holiday in Greece but Corfu but seem to have been charged data and calls as if I were in Albania? How can this be? Can you waive these charges as goodwill gesture - now locked to Greek telecom
