  • Wolf_Q4 Lorraine (@Wolf_Q4) reported from Barrhead, Scotland

Hey @O2 can you help? I got an email saying to view my bill, but as a new customer who hasn't received handset & I dont have a phone no yet (ordered online) I can't sign up or access your services. Also you have "shut down (y)our email support service" apparently any suggestions?

  • Miami_Delights Adam Armour-Florence (@Miami_Delights) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 hi folks. I currently can't login to my O2 on the app or in the website. Won't let me through to an advisor when I call 202. Looking to upgrade my mobile since you sent me a text to have it paid off early to upgrade. Please help.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 I'd be very wary of @O2. Deals are good but in my experience customer service is atrocious

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 You must see my frustration? I'm paying for a device that is no longer fit for purpose. A main feature no longer works. Your response is hoping @HuaweiUK release a fix soon. Huawei suggest I fix it myself. What has happened to customer service?

  • __hatherell ☾*:・нαуℓєу∴ (@__hatherell) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 had a contactless payment amount come out of my account at £15.30 and the transaction is listened as “day to day O2”.... what is this !? Never seen it before - am I being thick?

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 It's blurry from 1x to 5x. Anything under and over works. The super Macro works. Huawei have said its a known issue they are trying to resolve via update/patch. Tried all resets. I now have a contract phone I bought for the amazing camera being useless.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 Support had suggested clearing caches, deleting data, restarts etc. All tried. All failed. There are no service centres here in Scotland to take the phone to. There is clearly an known issue that has affected many p30 pro users after updates. It would appear to be firmware.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 My phone hasn't physically broken. It's faulted, as many other P30 pro users have experienced after an update. I need the use of my phone. This is a fault due to Huawei.

  • mackbhoy Graeme mackie (@mackbhoy) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

Have just moved back to @O2 and wanted confirmation that my PAC code was being processed, however it appears that both chat and calls are too busy to help. Not the best of starts😐

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

Ni'm heading to @O2 shop to cancel the WiFi hub. Touch and go whether I cancel the phone which is due for upgraded anyway. Not the first time I've had difficulty with O2 and no sensible access to customer service.

  • 2916jade jade (@2916jade) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I’ve been trying to get on live chat for ages But I can’t find it and I rly need help with something ASAP help x

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@siward77 @HuaweiMobileUK @O2 I was thinking that. O2 are being sympathetic but beyond that no offers of any help. Huawei appear to still be in denial. Posted on their fb page and they replied and deleted my comment.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 PS I have been a loyal customer for around 12 years.

  • scottmonty85 Scott Monty (@scottmonty85) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 actually think it’s acceptable to offer me £10 ‘compensation’ for having no service from my work for 5 weeks!! Safe to say I declined. Contract up next month anyway @O2CxFb

  • terrybhoy82 Terrybhoy☘💚 (@terrybhoy82) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 bad customer service paid my bill online on bill date.. and still cut me off tried to call and cant speak to sum1 offer me disney+ free for 6mnthe but then bill me for it #badservice

  • jimjamsrules jimjamsrulestheworld (@jimjamsrules) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 no one to talk to at o2 and im constantly charged £4.99 by Lasevia ltd. This is bad on o2’s behalf!!!!

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 is the most atrocious customer service ever. Yesterday @O2 went through the motions of responding. Then went quiet. Today, on 3 occasions, calls to O2 have just simply terminated. One promise of email instructions did not materialise. They haven't a clue. Seriously.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 Here we have @O2 going through the motions and doing nothing substantive to resolve my issue.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 There is nowhere on your website or on correspondence a customer service phone number where this can be sorted. That is frustrating. To issue default notices when the account is net clear is a disgrace. Please DM with a phone number where I can resolve this.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • rsalloway rachel salloway (@rsalloway) reported

@O2 Hi please can you let me know the correct route for a formal complaint. I have been cut off three times this week in the middle of important phone calls. I’ve had enough now.

  • baronesspawsey Louisa ⭐️⭐️ (@baronesspawsey) reported

So just looked up @O2 personal hotspot help page and it says you have to have 3G or 4G so does that mean personal hotspots don’t work on 5G

  • CMHarland Catherine Harland (@CMHarland) reported

Just saw my @O2 monthly payment, £80 more than average. Turns out I’ve dialled a number unknowingly that charges £3.50 per min….for 23 mins. No idea who (I’ve obvs googled a company number) but it’s obviously a scam. 02 can’t help me reclaim. Ouch. Be warned folks

  • StuRobson Stuart Robson (@StuRobson) reported

… or @o2 have created an issue with iOS 15.1 🤔

Tell you what I am having so much trouble with this new phone on @O2 now the personal hotspot isn’t working, haven’t changed any of the settings on my phone or computer and yet it won’t connect, my phone isn’t even showing in the network list

  • TheRealNooshu Matt Hobbs (@TheRealNooshu) reported

@StuRobson @O2 I'm very interested in seeing what other providers do with this. I wonder why they have this issue? Traffic shaping, content filtering maybe?

  • adamRrice Adam Rice (@adamRrice) reported

@O2 I signed up to be kept up to date on the issue. The SMS said you'd be in touch within 48 hours or sooner if the issue was resolved. There was no follow up message. If you really can't do any better than this I'm looking at @VodafoneUK or @EE.

  • kelsam77 Kelly Samuels (@kelsam77) reported

@O2 having some trouble with the £10 eBay priority offer - states “Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only” when I activate via the link (I meet all the T&C’s) - help please 😭

  • MillieFiore 😷💖 Millie Fiore 🌺🐄🕷️🌳 (@MillieFiore) reported

@O2 Had signal checked a couple of times before. Each time the O2 said that there was no problem in my area. My neighbours engage in criminal behaviour. Is there a way that I can discover/prove signal blocking ? Presumably, signal blocking is an offence ? I am cut off ..
