Tried separating the bands then spent 20 minuets in hold and was advised to try turning the 5Ghz band off completely. No joy. No one is doing me proud.

Later, they provided engineer visit services and told me that actually I don't need to connect to the Microfilter as required on the handbook, but just use the cable to connect to the socket. Then the network can be used.

Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?

Your mistake - not ours - lost the ability to connect to fibre. Two of us work from home (1 of us - me - runs a business) and one is studying at Uni. This is totally unacceptable. But bear in mind virgin, brsk and a few other companies require a new drill through in the property because they don't use the same fibre line. Plusnet use the same line and bt so it would just be a ont change.

I want to remain with plusnet fibre to cabinet but lose the phone line rental, at a reduction in cost. This was not offered anywhere & person I spoke to on the phone before couldn't help. Please fix it.

Dan (@DJisatwit) reported@Plusnet My parents did. They rang and was fobbed off saying they couldn’t do any checks or test anything as it’s a BT problem. As an ex-employee at Plusnet, i know that’s rubbish. It screamed of “finishing at 5 and can’t be bothered to do the checks. 🤦🏻
