Urgh, I'm crap with anything to do with Internet speeds and stuff, and trying to change my broadband/WiFi as mine is plusnet and its shit, but I don't know what's a good speed! I don't like getting old.

  • carwu1 carwu1 (@carwu1) reported from Leeds, England

@RichardPrice78 @plusnethelp leave plusnet ASAP. I’ve had issues with them for yrs and they KNOW about issues with their routers but still send them out. I have 7 months left on my contract & can’t wait for it to be up. They’ll say it’s the 5ghz & that needs separating from the 2ghz but don’t that don’t work

  • TagCraigy Craig (@TagCraigy) reported from Leeds, England

@virginmedia your price increases are just ridiculous - it’s gone up by 1/3 since I started. @SkyUK @TalkTalk @Plusnet @bt_uk @VodafoneUK anyone offer something better as virgin have never offered anything to keep business.

  • LBradz Lindz 🏃‍♀️ (@LBradz) reported from Leeds, England

@Plusnet hi, are there still issues in Staveley, Cumbria LA8 9JS. Had phone but no internet up to yesterday afternoon.

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@nw_nicholas @Plusnet I have seen homes lacking a modern NTE5, split-face, master socket, with a very old 1970s PostOffice ‘BT’ rounded rectangular termination/junction box where the telephone line comes in.. this can be a problem. What did OpenReach check?

  • timmybanana Tim Wright (@timmybanana) reported

But apparently we can't leave and sign up to a different provider because we're 'under contract'. Do contracts only work one way then? @Plusnet Because I don't remember signing up for paying full whack for a consistent failure of service Surely this can't be allowed @Ofcom

  • nw_nicholas Mr Ethical (@nw_nicholas) reported

@Oxfordite @Plusnet New router - speed is fine, just that the router goes down frequently, all sorts of flashing lights

  • PhosgeneStudios Jake W (@PhosgeneStudios) reported

@thisistonyo @Plusnet Since Plusnet take forever to respond, checked with some network suppliers in that area - appears to be a network issue.

  • SpagFlying The Boosted Spaghetti Monster (@SpagFlying) reported

@Lesism Plusnet uses EE network. Don't go direct to EE.

  • timmybanana Tim Wright (@timmybanana) reported

Sign up for 80mb service from @Plusnet and consistently receive between just 5mb and 8mb speeds 2 engineer visits 1 new router Numerous 'fixes' by @Plusnet staff Numerous resets by us Now 'unable to connect to this network' so can't to work from home. 1 unhappy manager

  • NavaronePage69 LunarSlayer | Lily (@NavaronePage69) reported

Plusnet automated support line: hi the fastest way to contact us is via text Me: oh damn that's great *sends text* Plusnet: we will get back to you in 15 minutes and will be calling you

  • GS_Designer GB (@GS_Designer) reported

No signal with @Plusnet in SK23 for 4 days now - what's happening?

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

@nw_nicholas @Plusnet Which, presumably, has PlusNet finger OpenReach capacity issues (Did OpenReach attend at such a busy time to see the reality?), or to ponder REIN, which is more common at times of high power consumption/devices powered on/off.. Do power cables share poles with telephone wires?
