@BritishGas why oh why haven't you supported the @PostOffice and @Payzone_UK during your payment switchover. The customer service on british gas' part has been awful 0/10 rating.

  • Rvr1991 River (@Rvr1991) reported from London, England

The @PostOffice won't give me my own money back in store. Stay away from their travel card - it's an awful deal and they will hold your money hostage. 🙃

  • pipdrums Phil Wilson 🌈🥁 (@pipdrums) reported from Rochester, England

@PostOffice I had a message regarding information changes that turned out to be harmless. The problem is that the staff on the number given had no clue of the Customer Care or suspected fraud phone numbers. It's a staff training issue that needs addressing.

  • amanthesurgeon Aman Bhargava (@amanthesurgeon) reported from Romford, England

@PostOffice Of only there was on in our town centre - no wait - you closed it down !!

  • charliebach Mark Lewis (@charliebach) reported from Poplar, England

@PostOffice Spoke to support and they advised I would need to call back Monday. I am glad they confirmed that I will not be charged until we are activated

  • sweelee1 sweelee (@sweelee1) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice Yes as you would expect at this time of year. Most of the customers should have been encouraged to use self service, but due to lack of understanding about how to operate and whether it took cash, they opted for the customer assistants. Better service at the self service, IMO.

  • AlanScott Alan Scott (@AlanScott) reported from Walthamstow, England

@PostOffice Yes, this is the second time I've tried, but each time the post office has closed down. I can't track it as I was never given a tracking number either.

  • tonywoodhouse71 tony woodhouse (@tonywoodhouse71) reported from Eltham, England

@PostOffice can I please enquire about brewery road sub po SE18. It has been closed for over a month with no indication if re-opening. Obviously wishing the staff are safe, but this is a vital service that vulnerable people rely on in this community. Any news is appreciated.

  • DrDotPepper Richard Miller (@DrDotPepper) reported from Stratford, England

    @jdsunset @ThomasWinward @PostOffice Shit.

  • jamesrfyoung James Young (@jamesrfyoung) reported from Wickford, England

@postoffice is it standard practise for your wickford town centre branch to be so rude & “not be bothered” about your business and it’s customers #rude #notimpressed #badcustomerservice

  • mmcdstudio Michael McDonough (@mmcdstudio) reported from London, England

@PostOffice the post office Lewisham is a farce. Hardly any staff, long queues, little help and massively over complicated touch screen self service tills just to make a simple parcel postage. Ridiculous.

  • PaulMahoney17 Paul Mahoney (@PaulMahoney17) reported from London, England

@PostOffice hello I have a problem. I am waiting for a parcel from Amazon l. Very important. It’s been 10 days and nothing. When I try to track it with you it’s says: An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item. PLEASE HELP!

  • Real_Blue_Meani Andrew Brooks (@Real_Blue_Meani) reported from Epping, England

@PostOffice About 30 minutes. One of them said to a customer it's always busy at this time of day. Well if it is why not get all the windows open and count stamps etc when it's not. It's quite simple really.

  • theman_theego Mike Dowling (@theman_theego) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@PostOffice can you confirm. I am sending a small item today. Fits easily as a large letter. Was asked what in contained as told "as not a letter can not be sent as large letter must be small parcel". Never been asked this before.

  • charliebach Mark Lewis (@charliebach) reported from Poplar, England

@PostOffice signed up for broadband & meant to go active yesterday. Still no access. Called & was told there was a delay. Was told by a CSR that we wouldn’t have been told there was a delay as they would wait for us to tell them. This is bad coms. Now got to wait till Mon

  • mcleanworld Jennifer McLean (@mcleanworld) reported from London, England

Postal service in Catford is aweful. It’s so intermittent and then Postworker delivering after 10pm Scared the hell out of me. Not cool. @RoyalMail @PostOffice

  • CerisexAaliyah CeriseXaaliyah (@CerisexAaliyah) reported from London, England

  • ratman97 chris summers (@ratman97) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice just a small complaint. Had a parcel delivered today, left in the food waste bin, so far no problem, except the bin was about half full of food waste. Had to clean my package outside before opening it and bringing it in.

Post Office Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MartinJHughes Martin Hughes (@MartinJHughes) reported

@PrivateEyeNews @mnimnh Needs a judge led inquiry. Some people in the #PostOffice must have known these sub-postmasters were innocent and that the problem was their #Horizon computer system as the number of cases mounted.

  • BCCletts Dave H 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 Invoke Clause 8 (1320) (@BCCletts) reported

@youngypaul @_andrewtowers @PostOffice We see an even more scandalous societal issue with thousands of deaths & injuries annually Around 40 people/yr killed 10's of '000's impacted by drivers using footways - no inquests asking how to stop this ... accepted?

  • ferrus1991 Ferrus1991 (@ferrus1991) reported

@davidallengreen @PrivateEyeNews @PostOffice "This was some faith to show in ICL, an IT company that had originally been awarded the PFI contract despite ranking last of three bidders technically (but being judged cheaper) and had since then only lived down to low expectations."

  • davidallengreen davidallengreen (@davidallengreen) reported

@david_conn @JudiciaryUK @PostOffice An extraordinary system failure - where a swarm of micro-decisions by judges and juries (on the evidence put before them) made decisions, no doubt in good faith But the weakness of that evidence was hidden Garbage In, Garbage Out

  • steveg107 Steve G🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧⚽🌹 (@steveg107) reported from Monmouth, Wales

@PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Compensation now for the victims. Prosecute the corrupt managers and chair/directors who knew Horizon was crap.

  • BpsmithUk Bryan Smith #RejoinEU (@BpsmithUk) reported

@rEUnion_PartyUK @Fujitsu_Global @PostOffice Well, the Horizon software was singled out as culpable due to the bugs & errors by the judge, so it was the reason for the accounting errors. The Post Office is culpable because it covered them up, denied they happened & pushed for prosecuton despite knowing.

  • graham_driver Graham Driver (@graham_driver) reported

@ch1pme1ster @PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Her name is Paula Vennells. CEO of the Post Office until Feb 2019. Awarded a CBE and is an Anglican minister - obviously a very poor Christian.

  • colinjwatt Colin Watt (@colinjwatt) reported

@brianmoore666 The #PostOfficeScandal is horrific isn’t it. Collusion, subterfuge and lies - @PostOffice and @fujitsu_uk should be ripped to shreds. This would have been briefed to govt at the time due to potential liabilities. It’s amongst the worst cases of all time. Shameful.

  • Ed_Levey Edward Levey QC (@Ed_Levey) reported

@davidallengreen @JudiciaryUK @PostOffice The sad reality is that without Fraser J's "Horizon Issues" judgment, the criminal justice system would almost certainly *never* have "got there". It was really that judgment which was the undoing of the convictions. Without it, the convictions would have stood.

  • Kamranashraf77 Kam (@Kamranashraf77) reported

@faisalislam @PostOffice used the private prosecutions process and acted against its workers as judge, jury and executioner. There were no safeguards to prevent the abuse of power which was allowed to continue for so long despite cries of help from so many victims #PostOfficeScandal
