Post Office Issues Reports Near Romford, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Romford and nearby locations:

  • charliebach Mark Lewis (@charliebach) reported from Poplar, England

@PostOffice Spoke to support and they advised I would need to call back Monday. I am glad they confirmed that I will not be charged until we are activated

  • MrChrisLouis Christophe Louis (@MrChrisLouis) reported from Camberwell, England

@PostOffice Other staff members would not help, most of them finding refuge behind the door. 40+ people waiting in 2 queues, main desk & self service tills. A guy decides to close the self service despite the queue, insults clients who complain and ask him to finish the queue b4 closing

  • ratman97 chris summers (@ratman97) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice just a small complaint. Had a parcel delivered today, left in the food waste bin, so far no problem, except the bin was about half full of food waste. Had to clean my package outside before opening it and bringing it in.

  • CerisexAaliyah CeriseXaaliyah (@CerisexAaliyah) reported from London, England

Gotta wait 21 days for my own money to go into my account cos the atm decided to go out of service and not give me my money. Thanks @PostOffice

  • Civil_Chappy Brad Burnett (@Civil_Chappy) reported from Gravesend, England

@BritishGas why oh why haven't you supported the @PostOffice and @Payzone_UK during your payment switchover. The customer service on british gas' part has been awful 0/10 rating.

  • AntiqueFletcher R Fletcher Antiques (@AntiqueFletcher) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice Thanks for your help. I'm assuming that we don't need the customs stickers for the EU until told differently then.

  • sweelee1 sweelee (@sweelee1) reported from Bromley, England

@PostOffice Yes as you would expect at this time of year. Most of the customers should have been encouraged to use self service, but due to lack of understanding about how to operate and whether it took cash, they opted for the customer assistants. Better service at the self service, IMO.

  • Greenwoodworker Robin Fawcett (@Greenwoodworker) reported from Waltham Abbey, England

@PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp Thanks for that but I already have & we are NOT supposed to receive any of the crap distributed by the Post Office. However the poor sod delivering it is desperate to lighten the weight of their over filled bag of rubbish so put it through the letter box anyway!😬

  • Real_Blue_Meani Andrew Brooks (@Real_Blue_Meani) reported from Epping, England

@PostOffice About 30 minutes. One of them said to a customer it's always busy at this time of day. Well if it is why not get all the windows open and count stamps etc when it's not. It's quite simple really.

  • AnnHalliday66 Ann Halliday (@AnnHalliday66) reported from London, England

@MichaelSnasdell @RachaelDunlop @PostOffice Brockley Rise one was alway good, but not working that way anymore have to use Forest Hill 😢

  • mmcdstudio Michael McDonough (@mmcdstudio) reported from London, England

@PostOffice the post office Lewisham is a farce. Hardly any staff, long queues, little help and massively over complicated touch screen self service tills just to make a simple parcel postage. Ridiculous.

  • mcleanworld Jennifer McLean (@mcleanworld) reported from London, England

Postal service in Catford is aweful. It’s so intermittent and then Postworker delivering after 10pm Scared the hell out of me. Not cool. @RoyalMail @PostOffice

  • philrichardsuk Phil Richards (@philrichardsuk) reported from City of London, England

@PostOffice I was passing by so didn't need it today. But this is just one of many complaints locals have about thus sub Post Office which includes rude staff.

  • theman_theego Mike Dowling (@theman_theego) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@PostOffice can you confirm. I am sending a small item today. Fits easily as a large letter. Was asked what in contained as told "as not a letter can not be sent as large letter must be small parcel". Never been asked this before.

  • charliebach Mark Lewis (@charliebach) reported from Poplar, England

@PostOffice signed up for broadband & meant to go active yesterday. Still no access. Called & was told there was a delay. Was told by a CSR that we wouldn’t have been told there was a delay as they would wait for us to tell them. This is bad coms. Now got to wait till Mon

  • Kineets Kineta Kelsall (@Kineets) reported from Camberwell, England

@PostOffice I’ve tried multiple times to pay for a custom charge, but it’s not working. Please help! I’ve tweeted a couple of times

  • Rvr1991 River (@Rvr1991) reported from London, England

The @PostOffice won't give me my own money back in store. Stay away from their travel card - it's an awful deal and they will hold your money hostage. 🙃

  • Mehrin_21 mehrin (@Mehrin_21) reported from Walthamstow, England

@PostOffice when is the postal service going to get better at their job

  • julieborough JulieWills (@julieborough) reported from Romford, England

@PostOffice @Tesco I don’t know who employs the staff at the post office within tesco Front Lane Cranham RM14 but your member of staff Michelle is so rude and unhelpful. I suggest you do some staff training. All the staff in the actual store are lovely, so I imagine she is P.O.

  • sparkyshiny Sparky Shiny (@sparkyshiny) reported

@PostOffice I need to make a complaint as was advised by royal mail. Paid for a guaranteed next day service by 1pm and was not delivered in time. It even says in receipt by 1pm. I want money back plus compensation for false information by post office on royal mail services.

  • a_shoff Alex Shoff (@a_shoff) reported

@PostOffice I requested to post something at my local post office and upon leaving, I realised that I needed to get a faster service. When I requested the parcel back they said to contact royal mail for a refund. The receipt does not seem to have a tracking number. Thank you!

  • msmallons Lou Mallon (@msmallons) reported

Hi @PostOffice you’ve told me that my broadband is being taken over by Shell Energy. I don’t want them as my provider, for ethical reasons. I can’t see in the FAQs info on how to cancel without being charged. Pretty sure I’m not alone in wanting to do this!

  • rohitkaitheri Rohit Kaitheri (@rohitkaitheri) reported

  • normryl81 Em (@normryl81) reported

@thecabaretgeek @PostOffice @WHSmith The staff will have been supplied some but maybe they haven't been supplied it for the customers. My kindness goes to retail workers because I am one and I know how much **** people take from the general public when the person at the tills your shaming isn't the one in charge.

  • alberialti chris walker (@alberialti) reported

@PostOffice we need to complete a third party closure form but we are locked down in Italy, can’t get to a branch. The phone operator wouldn’t email the form to us! Help!

  • Missfunkysoul Audrey 💗 (@Missfunkysoul) reported

@PostOffice Great idea for doing a Sunday postal service. Just don’t let the current posties get over worked! Great way to create new jobs for those who need it 🥰

  • alberialti chris walker (@alberialti) reported

@PostOffice Strange that, we’ve had similar issues with Halifax, Barclays, and Nationwide, all of whom have resolved issues through twitter queries. Pity, you can ill afford all this negative publicity on a public social media field. #postoffice

  • stevenmorrish Steven (@stevenmorrish) reported

@NewPOGuy @PostOffice @dongle1 At our branch we had a customer come back as their cheque had not arrived with the bank, they contacted NatWest who said that a paying slip SHOULD have been put in the envelope, and the Post Office should be telling people to do so,So there is mis communication somewhere for sure
