@chrish9070 @PostOffice @beisgovuk @scullyp @BBCPanorama @BBCRadio4 @BBCfileon4 @PrivateEyeNews @nickwallis @MetroBank_Help so far & it’s not over yet. They @MetroBank_Help keep asking me for the same information over and over. I put in in an e mail as they request and then they ask for it in a letter ! It’s a joke ! One of their customer service chaps was so patronising to me ( its the Irish accent)

  • mmcdstudio
Michael McDonough (@mmcdstudio) reported from London, England

@PostOffice the post office Lewisham is a farce. Hardly any staff, long queues, little help and massively over complicated touch screen self service tills just to make a simple parcel postage. Ridiculous.

  • mcleanworld
Jennifer McLean (@mcleanworld) reported from London, England

Postal service in Catford is aweful. It’s so intermittent and then Postworker delivering after 10pm Scared the hell out of me. Not cool. @RoyalMail @PostOffice

  • RuthRobinsonLon
Ruth Robinson (@RuthRobinsonLon) reported from Islington, England

@chrish9070 @PostOffice @beisgovuk @scullyp @BBCPanorama @BBCRadio4 @BBCfileon4 @PrivateEyeNews @nickwallis @MetroBank_Help I’ve had to make a complaint about them. I banked happily with Lloyds since around 1988 without a single issues and then I had the misfortune 2 be handed to @TSB and that’s been a litany of misery - some people just don’t respect the Irish and there is no getting away from this.

  • RuthRobinsonLon
Ruth Robinson (@RuthRobinsonLon) reported from Islington, England

@chrish9070 @PostOffice @beisgovuk @scullyp @BBCPanorama @BBCRadio4 @BBCfileon4 @PrivateEyeNews @nickwallis I am having a terrible time with the post office in #Holloway - the complaints systems seem to be corrupt. The manager of the post office lied about being the manager. It’s a shambles. I’m doing a charge back via @MetroBank_Help for £45 that has embroiled me in 4 hours of admin

  • eniolaxx

I am starting to think that the Royal Mail International **** show is going to happen all over again. Item sent to Ireland sent Saturday morning. Still only saying “we’ve got it” on tracking. #badservice @RoyalMailHelp @PostOffice

  • David_Llew
David Gardner 🇪🇺🇬🇧🌍🇺🇦 (@David_Llew) reported from London, England

Appalling @PostOffice service @WHSmith Woolwich, queue closed 45minutes early, machines all out of order. They promised us an improved service when the Crown @PostOffice was closed.

  • dongingerillo

@ADTherapyCoach @PostOffice The replacement post has been delivered this morning… I cannot help but wonder what kind of confusion this will cause now.

  • ithattheatre
Imagine That Theatre (@ithattheatre) reported from London, England

@PostOffice I have two parcels posted using the signed for service on 15 December that have yet to leave Mottingham Post Office. I understand you’re busy but any idea why it’s been 6 days and no delivery?

  • deserrey

  • symbosimbo
SiBurman (@symbosimbo) reported from London, England

@PostOffice Since the service has moved into existing shops the service has been far better! Keep up the good work. Ignore the vile comments on here. We've still got a way to go obviously.

  • RuthRobinsonLon
Ruth Robinson (@RuthRobinsonLon) reported from Islington, England

Perhaps by now the manager of the @PostOffice has realised that lying about being the manager might have been stupid. If he has any brains at all he’ll already have a new job 🌝

  • eziosavva

  • Rvr1991

The @PostOffice won't give me my own money back in store. Stay away from their travel card - it's an awful deal and they will hold your money hostage. 🙃

  • PaulMahoney17

@PostOffice hello I have a problem. I am waiting for a parcel from Amazon l. Very important. It’s been 10 days and nothing. When I try to track it with you it’s says: An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item. PLEASE HELP!

  • Hardeepubhi101

Advertised as 9am opening. Opens at 9.18am. People waiting outside. Very bad service. @PostOffice

  • dongingerillo
Gingerillo (@dongingerillo) reported from London, England

@ADTherapyCoach @PostOffice Silly question, but do you call the customer helpline regularly to kick up a fuss? It seems more than a coincidence that these were delivered with a few days after calling virtually every day last week

  • dongingerillo
Gingerillo (@dongingerillo) reported from London, England

@siany_d @RoyalMailHelp @PostOffice I know… RM have been putting PO workers in an awful situation, and then when the crap hits the try to divert the blame.

  • ArturNadol7566
    Artur Nadolny (@ArturNadol7566) reported

POST OFFICE SENT INVESTIGATORS TO SEARCH A FRIDGE FOR MONEY Sharon Brown and Kevin Brown took over their Post Office branch in Pennywell, Sunderland, in 2006. A few years in, the Horizon system @PostOffice started showing shortfalls. Sharon assumed the fault was hers. By 2012 she was suspended over a £36k discrepancy that never existed. Investigators arrived at her home. They searched the fridge. They went through the kitchen cupboards. All hunting for cash that was never gone in the first place, because a computer glitch does not hide in a Tupperware box. Sharon and Kevin used their life savings to pay back a debt invented by a faulty IT system. Kevin called it "a massive black hole." They are still in debt today. Two charging orders remain on their home. Sharon has spoken about the period around 2013 and 2014 when the stress brought her close to taking her own life. What stopped her was a photo of her sons, Adam and Callum, on the wall. She has said "I wouldn't be sitting with you now" if she hadn't seen it. Their old branch doesn't exist anymore. It's a shop selling vapes, cakes and milkshakes now, lit up with a rainbow LED sign. Sharon went back to see it once. Her heart was racing before the car even stopped. She no longer speaks to family members who doubted her at the time. No fridge search fixes a debt that was fake from the start. No apology from head office undoes 14 years of two people quietly bankrupting themselves over a software bug. The Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry @PostOffInquiry keeps hearing stories exactly like this one. Post Office keeps saying sorry. Sharon and Kevin keep paying off a debt that a computer made up. @ArturNadol7566 @PostOffice Isnt it funny how a lot of these post offices that had these issues appeared to be in the Midlands or North of England? Similarly the BMW E39 engine problems all seem to be clustered in the North also? They blamed it on the chemicals in fuel didnt affect rest of UK or Europe!.
