@PostOffice Queueing in Ealing Common W5 3NN branch just now, the lady serving was rather rude to a customer who was concerned about the length of time other customers were being made to wait in the queue as she was the only one serving at the counter. Not the sort of 1/2

@PostOffice I’ve submitted a complaint via web form. The staff in the WH Smith’s branch on Harben Parade, London NW3 really need some customer service training. Being on the receiving end of rude, dismissive, and hostile attitude is unacceptable. Sort them out.

@PostOffice Yes as you would expect at this time of year. Most of the customers should have been encouraged to use self service, but due to lack of understanding about how to operate and whether it took cash, they opted for the customer assistants. Better service at the self service, IMO.

@PostOffice Yesterday I posted my old passport to the passport office having renewed online at home and the po counter person commented on it saying how great it was. I agree! But I'm glad you still do this for folk who aren't comfortable doing it online. Because the paper form is awful.

@PostOffice your Kings Cross branch need to check their security of parcels! I’ve just been to post a parcel and the “air lock” is full and open on the customer side. So anyone could steal the parcels. Tried to tell the counter staff but they weren’t interested

@PostOffice something needs to be done about the postoffice in jennyfields (newpark) harrogate. Always so slow, never stick to advertised opening, never more than one serving even when busy, even if more than one there which is rare!

@Matt_Pinner I had the 3210 and Ericsson R310s. My grandma worked at a postoffice and sometimes went back to help out during her retirement. I went with her and handled the phone center (that big wooden box with many "jacks") to switch the incoming calls to the addressee. Fun summer holidays.

@CatHobbs @ZackPolanski I've noticed how shite the @PostOffice has become since privatisation. All the local postboxes shut, massive queues to use services and hardly ever open sorting offices. Privatisation never works unless you are one of the shareholders siphoning the cash.

@capriccioqu4 @LINK_ATM_Scheme @PostOffice Apparently there are enough free cash machines and post offices within the three miles radius - enough being, 1 x Post Office and two free ATMs. I cannot manage to walk to the Co-op (in one direction) or OneStop in the other direction to get cash from the ATMs - they are simply too far away. Yes, I drive and have a car, but sometimes that adds more inconvenience as parking at both shops is abysmal. It would less of an issue if all of the shops and takeaways in Epworth accepted card payments, but several are cash only, including my favourite Chinese takeaway 🥡 According to the saying “cash is king”, but it really isn’t when access to it is limited by bureaucracy.
