Brian (@BrianMcAuslan) reported from Hackney, England@PostOffice Thanks Ryan, much appreciated. I did politely explain to him that these are free but was subsequently called a “b*stard” upon leaving. Not really a great standard of customer service, and surely not in line with Post Office values? Would be grateful if this could be fed back.
-

-
𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕤𝕖𝕪 🇬🇧🇮🇱🧡 (@Lindseyy888) reported@DonaldPond6 @JohnCaveAusten @PostOffice It wouldn’t have been the same service, whilst services are cheaper online it isn’t that much cheaper. Also if we want to keep post offices open, we need to use them. They are all small businesses who are struggling.
-
Emma Holdsworth (@ESzczambur93581) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Post offices and Royal Mail are a corrupt organisation - yes some staff went through hell and they should be compensated but Japan’s probably trying to work out which fraud was the errors of software and which were errors of Royal Mail
-
portside (@portside2018) reported@SecKennedy @MedicareGov All of you are ******* ********. Can't sign into Medicare bc of this new login ****. Have no ******* clue how to do it and its impossible for me to do it. Now I have to go to postoffice? How am I to get there? Cost too much to get a cab. You pay?

Simon (@LilywhiteSimon) reported@JagsArthurson @afneil @PostOffice Post Office would never deliver it ~ they’re not a delivery company.
-
julian (@Julian2017124) reportedSmall victory today! @PostOffice have accepted my appeal against the Camberwell branch. They still haven’t made a final decision (I’ll post the outcome as soon as it comes), but I’m taking this as a positive step towards proper accountability. As my FOI already proved, this one branch had 52 complaints in just 3 years, and 96 complaints since 2021, with a shocking 61% tactical closure rate basically gatekeeping and shutting down customer complaints before they’re properly looked at. Out of the 15 complaints they actually had to decide on: 8 were upheld and 7 dismissed. That means 55% ruled in the customer’s favour. This branch is clearly a problem and needs sorting out properly. But at least now my complaint is at appeal stage. Whether they now finally admit that wrongdoing by post office staff occurred will be another story. But my intention is to keep the pressure up until they do better. If they have a zero tolerance for abuse which I fully respect, support and understand. I also have a zero tolerance for myself suffering abuse equally and hopefully they understand. #PostOffice #CamberwellPostOffice #Accountability

₿ISON 🦬 💹 🧲 (@condan395) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice So they made you increase your carbon footprint for absolutely no reason. Well done @PostOffice also it is appauling that you can charge £17 to some customers and £6 to others for the same service. Daylight robbery.
-
John (@Parky10000) reported@Suej1959 @PostOfficeNews @PostOffice So you are saying that they should somehow know it's important and prioritise it over somene who has paid for a better service?. Maybe shows your sense of entitlement more than anything else.
-
Permanently Exasperated (@atouchofsense) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice No way was it a like for like service that you booked
-
julian (@Julian2017124) reportedJust received this reply from @PostOffice (Charlotte) however interestingly given me a new complaint number (CAS-4652456-F5T0K2). They’ve only acknowledged receipt and say a Complaint Handler will be assigned within 15 working days. Until then, further replies won’t be monitored. What’s funny though is this came through just 15 minutes after I tweeted about the situation, I tweeted last one at 8:37am they sent the email at 8:52 am! Coincidence or not, the timing is interesting. All my other email was for not to dispute the appeal decision but request for a fuller explanation of the appeal outcome so it’s interesting that request is being treated as a brand new complaint, and also other part of that request was asking for information if they’re part of a ADR and the contact details, but when I clearly provided the original case number (CAS-4564626-W1G1F8) With 96 complaints as I say in 5 years at Camberwell branch (61.5% tactically closed), this slow, dismissive process is exactly why people lose faith. And I know @PostOffice sees my tweets. It’s time @PostOffice up their game. Either resolve this properly with a reasonable solution and apology, or respect my rights including my right to full transparency and the right to escalate this to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. Why should I have to accept someone getting away with verbal abuse? No justice whatsoever. Otherwise, we’re just going to continue this very public spat for as long as it takes. The choice is yours. #PostOffice #CamberwellPostOffice
