Since then, my VIP Diamond status built up over 23 years has vanished. I just use a different network now with a free SIM and a cash top up each month.

Meanwhile I’m stuck here waiting for nearly two weeks for a working internet connection.

I called three times on Friday to be told they can’t contact @OpenreachHelp via the phone so couldn’t pin them down about when my internet will be properly fixed. It’s just absolutely disgraceful

They insisted they would only speak to the account holder. I told them I hoped they had a very good psychic medium on hand. My mother had a stroke and had severe dementia. we tried to cancel her broadband and just keep the tv as she couldn't use a computer any more. They kept asking to speak to her and got angry when she couldn't remember her password. Utter scum.
