Phone @SkyHelpTeam to cancel Sky Cinema, as the website won’t let me. It gives me a number to call. I call the number. It reads out spiel about bad weather, long wait times and then says it will send me an SMS link to the website to sort my issue. The link is for broadband probs.

@virginmedia Thanks for you lack of response @virginmedia, obviously customer support or helping out my 86 year old mother who lives alone get her phone back and working is not a priority to you, maybe @SkyHelpTeam will be more helpful when I call them tomorrow, disgraceful customer service

@SkyHelpTeam I’ve just signed up for a free 4 week trial of sky cinema & then £5 for 6 months. But account info is saying it is only 2 months & I’ll be charged £19 from October. I have the email clearing stating 6 months @ £5. Please would you help with this.

@SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam a 3rd party accidentally cut thru a cable yesterday disrupting work & study across a huge area but, a bigger worry was loss of comms for those alone in lockdown. THANK YOU to your engineers who worked thru the night so we awoke to a fully restored service.

@SkyHelpTeam No they’ve said I should never have been out on and (hopefully) removed it. I was given a placeholder date for installation as ipenreach’s computers were down (of 31.12.21). After 6 weeks of trying Sky told me this could only be fixed by the advisor cancelling and rebooking.
