We had a loss of signal from the 1st Jan when I requested an engineer to be booked. The sky box then came back on by itself on the 7th Jan, and I cancelled the engineer.

It's the ridiculous hoops Sky Q makes you jump through to reconnect equipment that has always been connected. Push this button, go and press this button on another device, restart this etc
