Chris Danowski (@oritutu) reported from Portsmouth, England@TalkTalk Oh I sure hope so. That’s the message I got 44 hours ago tho so It doesn’t sound like this customer is very important. I can still be made a happy customer tho
-
Woody (@andywoodcraft) reported from Horndean, EnglandAvoid #talktalk worse customer service I've heard about! Call centre worker laughing at an elderly woman because she doesn't have a mobile phone and doesn't understand why she needs TV. Well #talktalk can cancel the contract and employ English staff.
-
Joanna Quade (@jejquade) reported from Fareham, EnglandWhy the hell are you still billing me @TalkTalk when I cancelled with you 2 months ago. I am with Now, not you because of your poor service.
-
Savvy Sarah (Sarah Harvey) (@SavvySarahSPM) reported from Chichester, England@JWebbConsulting @TalkTalk I know BT gets a bad press but our broadband is very fast and reliable. Not the cheapest but rarely gives us problems.

Jon JB Wills (@JBdoessound) reported from Gosport, EnglandI’m very pleased with @TalkTalk today. We have a problem on our broadband where using a VPN stops everything else from working. I posted on the Community and less than 0.5hr later I’m being sent a replacement router. Praise where it is due!
-
Ben Jordan (@CTIDBen) reported from Chichester, England@TalkTalk My phone line has not worked for 6 months. You apparently sent an engineer out a few months ago but still not working. -

-
Irvin Balagosa (@irvinbalagosa) reported from Chichester, EnglandAnyone around Chichester on @TalkTalk? They recently asked us to continue with an 18 month contract named Fibre 65 (boasts a 65mbps promise) and apparently this can only achieve up to 35 mbps. I find that unacceptable and false marketing. Anyone having the same issue?
TalkTalk Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?
-
Marilyn (@Mrs_Mazzy) reported@jomickane @Benleo I’ve had little problems with TalkTalk, and when there was got sorted. Been with them since about 2009. My daughter joined at same time but has been with Virgin and Sky since and had nothing but trouble. I’m hoping my luck carries on, but you never know 🤞
-
Ron Sands (@ronniesands) reported@TalkTalk Mate just re instate my email account every day this week someone from TalkTalk has promised to fix it promised they care they haven’t they don’t
-
Mary Holmes (@maryholmes61) reported@TalkTalk Siyanda, I have sent a DM as requested but no help has followed. This is very frustrating.
-
Volodymyr Pavlenko (@mindinpanic) reported@business TalkTalk offloading wholesale to Telecel is the sensible move, the consumer side has been dragging them down
-
Langho Rovers (@langhorovers) reported@VodafoneUK phenomenal broadband experience, WiFi cutting out every day. Had talktalk previously never had this issue. Vodafone broadband is the absolute worst. Avoid. Constant chats to "fix" issues. Promised call backs - repeated failure after failure. OFCOM complaint incoming.
-
Shadow D'Wolf 🐺 (@ShadowDWolf) reported@TalkTalk keeps dropping out. It's been happening for about a month now. Aren't they supposed to refund when service is not good? Not on the fastest just on the basic with the new fibreoptik lines in around here 🐺💔
-
Ruby Atkin (@ruby__ema) reported@TalkTalk why is your WiFi so bad atm it’s like you’ve given up
-
Angela (@angelajazz2) reported@PaulUtd16 @TalkTalk Tech is great when it works. Trying to speak to a human these days to sort problems out is nigh on impossible! Hope your parents are sorted soon
-
Tigol (@bigoltiddies) reported@JU51LNS @TalkTalk It was never YOUR email, it belonged to TalkTalk and they simply rented it to you as a perk of being subscribed to their service. You've cancelled or are cancelling so they're no longer giving you a free email and instead asking you to pay. BT does/did the same. As did/does Sky. Virginmedia just straight delete the email address after 90 days. You're making a deal out of nothing. Pay the fiver a month and use the time to port out valuable emails by forwarding them to your other email then when you're confident you've got it all transferred, cancel the payment.
