Day 36 and the residents believe that @TalkTalk might be installing a router this morning but since @WeAreOpenreach have yet to give a date to connect the house to the network they will still be waiting for broadband for at least another 4 days #incompetence

Day 36 update: another false dawn! Apparently today is the day @TalkTalk will call to discuss dates. @WeAreOpenreach won’t do anything until @TalkTalk do something! I am beyond being polite but refuse to use expletives but for crying out loud this is disgraceful service

I’m very pleased with @TalkTalk today. We have a problem on our broadband where using a VPN stops everything else from working. I posted on the Community and less than 0.5hr later I’m being sent a replacement router. Praise where it is due!

@TalkTalk Ok thank you. That wasn't made clear when I took out the contract as a new customer. My father had been the previous customer with Talk Talk. Open Reach advised me incorrectly that the number could be ported over. I will contact them and let them know their advise was incorrect.

I’m sure this tweeter can tweet this, have it retweeted causing a PR nightmare and have some minimum wage worker in trouble or possibly let go for disappointing a customer. That’s callous too.

@TalkTalk Why am I not able to port my old number to my new account. Became a new customer 25th March with new number. Want to keep old number as it's been in the family 60+ years. Customer service say that are unable to port the number.
