Customer service manager Gift has been dealing with this and referred it on to CEO . Was meant to get call back today between 2-3pm but nothing . oubt .

After 3hrs on the phone to TalkTalk you get nowhere. Dont use TalkTalk absolute awful company to deal with.

After months of correspondence and last couple of weeks contact by twitter feed, last week they escalated my case to their escalation team. Unsurprisingly no communication/resolution as yet! They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). ๐คจ I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds โ although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...๐ค They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it โ ยฃ150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?

Starlink set arrived the next day, took 10 minutes to set up / much faster and no contract. For RURAL parts itโs best
