@virginmedia once again on demand not working. How are you supposed to watch a sky movies film when it stops every 10 seconds to spin a wheel for 10 seconds. Service checker says its fine and the box has been rebooted.

@virginmedia I have already opened a formal complaint. This was dismissed with "You are unhappy about the poor customer service you experienced. We request you call on the number..." which led to further a further call, lots of waiting and no further progress. Hence this Twitter conversation.

@HeyPJB @virginmedia Yeah. That's easy enough. My Virgin gigabit and TV was jumping from £74 to £89 next year. BT offering a very similar service for £84 but includes Netflix (£13.99 worth), which Virgin can't do.

@virginmedia Is there an email address I can use instead? I can just tell them the address and send the photos and explain the problem. They turn up whenever and fix it (its on the street, so no one needs to be home) I’ve taped up the lower parts, but up higher it is hanging over a shop sign.

@CARNDARAK @vmbusiness Mine is really bad too. I live in Germany, and I've had random 5 sec lag spikes and, in general, a very unstable ping, for YEARS now. Its a miracle I managed to reach 90 in gauntlets 2 times since heist. But @1und1 wont do anything other than "thats the best we can do here"

@virginmedia So day 8 without broadband and another time of 4pm today to be fixed but we know it won’t. Actually talked to somebody today who filled a complaint in and then closed it because their resolution was ‘Technical help provided’. I won’t hold my breath.

@virginmedia I only have a broadband business line, this came back up @ approx. 6.30am this morning. There was an automated message stating an issue affecting the broadband service & complete lack of connectivity for some folks. So no internet for 11hrs.
