@leylatov @virginmedia Honestly this is pretty standard. As you are in the same area, you could even start out with this 'intermittent untraceable local fault' and have no service too! As far as I can tell, they are so big, they don't care about individual customers or holding onto their custom.

@virginmedia @NadsShad 1) you didn't notify customers that there were intermittent problems 2) your customer service line operative was very unconcerned about it when we called 3) we are home workers and need dependable services 4) yours are not dependable and nobody who works for you seems to care!

Yet more problems @virginmedia had 3 weeks of good service before going tits up again. Oh and I got a full bill when I was due compensation for and I had to ring up and rectify. You really are a crappy company

@GeorgiaCorke @virginmedia Exactly why we left @SkyUK Shane as their service is really good. Virgin is cheaper and good packages but the service can be so up and down. They won’t send an engineer because it’s a fault in area not my equipment but a week to fix is an absolute travesty of a service!

@kellysharman19 @virginmedia If it’s not sorted today, I’m out. They can stuff their contract and any fees they’d expect me to pay!! It’s just a shame that @SkyUK are quite expensive for the stuff we want and I find they never look after existing customers

@virginmedia It’s broadband and tv. All I can do is watch recorded shows. Can’t even get bbc itv etc. All I’m told is there’s a complex problem in the area but other people I know seem to have problems with either the tv or internet and nowhere as bad as ours. Extremely frustrating

@virginmedia A few hours I understand but 4 days and counting is not on. No one seems to be able to give a reliable account of what the actual problem is and when it will be sorted. Just fobbed off constantly. You’ve probably been the most helpful so far.

@virginmedia Done all of this, nothing works, the check my status is useless as it says there’s no broadband issues but when I ring up I’m told there is.

@virginmedia I’m loosing connection and having issues ie dns issues....I have restarted all of my equipment. Isn’t there preventative actions you can do to stop ddos issues to other customers

@virginmedia Well that only works if the WiFi works... Signal for phones is so bad in our area despite a new mast within half a mile. Better customer service would be to send a text to make everyone aware there might be an issue (which there clearly is as its still not working now)

If I don't receive a call from anyone at @virginmedia today then my previous service provider @SkyUK have offered me a great deal to return and I'll be taking them up on it and will advise anyone thinking of using you in the future to think twice! Terrible customer service.

@virginmedia You need to sort your customer service out. It should not have taken me 12 hours yesterday to get to the point of being able to cancel my account. It should not have taken me two weeks to get through to someone to do that in the first place. You're exploiting your customers.

@virginmedia Which team can help with this? I got transferred 4 times yesterday with the last operator simply hanging up the phone after keeping me on hold for 15min. In all I was on the phone for 1hr.

I have become aware, that when last I spoke to @virginmedia, the agent downright lied about my contact, and didn't raise the complaint I'd asked to be raised. Now I can't trust @virginmedia to do anything. Where do I go to complain? @Ofcom do nothing, should I get a solicitor.

@virginmedia I've already raised a complaint about the price rise, that is when you lied repeatedly to me (of which I have proof). I will not be speaking to you again, I'll speak to my solicitor before calling you bunch of crooks again.
