@virginmedia Is your red button not working again?!?

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia JS, have you taken the time to read the thread through? It would appear not as your previous colleague intimated that you would be looking at auto-comp issue when I notified you that the issue had been resolved though you mentioned nothing about that.

  • SiClayton Simon Clayton (@SiClayton) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

Hi @02 @virginmedia has all the allocated of @peterkay_co_uk tickets been sold for today? Been waiting ages - staring at a white screen…. Communication would really help please?

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia how can you justify levying £25.00 charges if fail to cancel a "now resolved" tech visit but you fail to reciprocate the gesture when YOU cancel a visit and fail to notify the customer with the cancellation being due to an "outage" at your end? Shambolic&insulting

  • WheezyRider44 Matt Greenfield-Westcott (@WheezyRider44) reported from Nunthorpe, England

@virginmedia But this has gone on for months, not days or weeks. It can't be that difficult to identify the problem and find a solution.

  • modelnicola Nicola (@modelnicola) reported from Peterlee, England

@virginmedia Frustrating it had to come to this when an internal investigation would easily reveal that your contractors removed struts designed to secure the fence. Now having to pay court fees to remedy an issue created by you. It's a sham. I guess you hope most people back down.

  • SiClayton Simon Clayton (@SiClayton) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

Absolutely atrocious service AGAIN from @virginmedia - broadband, TV, telephone - all down and Tuesday is the earliest anybody can be bothered to come out - from one of the largest telecoms companies in the UK 😡😡😡

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia An area outage with something your end caused my issue (no bband) to flag as being resolved at your end. That was not the case in slightest (still without bband) and the tech appt this morning being cancelled but no notification

  • Tanya_M_S Tanya ❤️🤍 (@Tanya_M_S) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

  • mark001282 Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Stainton and Thornton, England

@virginmedia It's been going on for 8 weeks. I'm going to document this all and put it online for everyone to see how poor you have been. It's so stressful and you are doing nothing to help

  • benrelton ben (@benrelton) reported from Hartlepool, England

Broadband is down in our area, but can’t register loss of service on the website - just won’t work. Any ideas? @virginmedia

  • VictoriaBarry82 Victoria barry (@VictoriaBarry82) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia Yes that’s fine, I offered to send it back but I was told to use it until the call was listened to. Can you check on the progress of the complaint

  • modelnicola Nicola (@modelnicola) reported from Peterlee, England

@VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia paperwork completed by my other half for court. Not a single follow up from Virgin. Please RT what a shambles this company and their contractors are. Accepted fault for damage at the time but won't pay up for repairs. Spread the word. Retweet this!

  • TrackScotti Shaun Harrison (@TrackScotti) reported from Darlington, England

The @virginmedia Hub 3 (and I understand the 4 is just as bad) is a shocking WiFi offering. Any more than 10-15 items on it (not a lot considering what homes have connected these days) and it drops WiFi often! Ethernet connected devices are fine, yes, but not a good look !!

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia My issue is bband been down since Thursday night and Friday a tech visit for this morning between 8 and 12. Due to an outage at your end, the visit was incorrectly cancelled as your records showed as "now fixed". We didn't find this until contacting yourselves after 12 today

  • DannyTaylorDT Danny Taylor (@DannyTaylorDT) reported from Middlesbrough, England

Every single championship midweek fixtures, there’s always an issue with the red button. They either forget to turn the game on or instead they’ve now managed to put the wrong commentary on. Sort it out @virginmedia @SkyFootball. Wrong commentary on the Boro game

  • VictoriaBarry82 Victoria barry (@VictoriaBarry82) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia M125, it’s terrible, it’s always going down, if we are both wfh we need to turn any devices off to be able to use our work laptops

  • SiClayton Simon Clayton (@SiClayton) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

Hi @O2 @virginmedia have all todays allocated tickets for @peterkay_co_uk been sold for today? Been waiting ages - staring at a white screen…. Communication would really help please?

  • DwyerLauryn Lauren ♡ (@DwyerLauryn) reported

What’s the story with @virginmedia I’ve no internet at all. Is the server down or something?

  • JackSheaFFC JackShea (@JackSheaFFC) reported

@virginmedia That it won’t now be fixed until the 23rd and as a good will gesture of it being down for 21 days I will get £13.44. Great service and I’m so happy. 👀🙄

  • Haylzhope Haylz 💙 (@Haylzhope) reported

@virginmedia 1/2Actually this is incorrect, I have done exactly what you have stated with no help whatsoever!! Still wanting to charge me the full price with no idea about this offer! Such poor poor service!!!! No one seems to know what they are doing. This is the 4th time contacting virgin

  • michelledaisley Michelle Daisley (@michelledaisley) reported

@virginmedia I want virgin broadband. There is an error on your system saying our house not serviceable. Your engineer came and said it was. I have spent hours going round in circles with your call centre trying to convince them to connect me but “computer says no”. Help please!!

  • TimtheWineGuy Tim Haslam💙 (@TimtheWineGuy) reported

@jayrayner1 @virginmedia Had Virgin a few years ago & their customer service was unbelievably crap, even for a telecoms provider. Unannounced outages, no compensation & clueless staff.

  • punkbiznitch Zoe (@punkbiznitch) reported

@virginmedia So how do I make sure this is going to happen? Preferably without having to have yet another conversation with the contact centre, I feel as though I go round in circles. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had with Virgin, and I’ve been a customer for years!

  • redron1975 Ronnie Harris (@redron1975) reported from Walsall Wood, England

@virginmedia so what crap excuse u got today for us in the ws10 area? Internet down again. Honestly if you were a guard dog nothing would be safe. Even less reliable than the weather forecast.

  • punkbiznitch Zoe (@punkbiznitch) reported

@virginmedia No, he dodged the question when I asked how i would be compensated for the loss of speed and service for the 19 days you’ve been aware, for the lies, for the day I waited for an engineer that was never coming… Just advised me to check my next bill.

  • TimtheWineGuy Tim Haslam💙 (@TimtheWineGuy) reported

@virginmedia @ChrisMisslin The guy's an EE customer, you absolute prune. Typical of the state of providers that you go down a rabbit hole with a non-customer rather than address your own customer's needs.
