@virginmedia any chance of you sorting out the broadband issue in and around Lincoln. It's been going on for a couple of hours
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia I’m still getting Mail saying it needs updating, but more importantly installers and CS need to ensure they’re installed correctly and why they’re needed. It’s not just for 999. 999 can take hours to attend Jane down the street can be here in minutes.
-
Erin McDaid (@EmcdNotts) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
@virginmedia Thanks - will do if it persists but it would be so much easier to have live help or an email link rather than focusing on pushing the 'community' to help ourselves.
-
Jessica Boatright (@oh_so_boatie) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia Yes, issues showing. I've had to go to a cafe to work - so now as well as lost hours of income I'm down bus fare and refreshments so that I can use the the WiFi.
-
Nathan Wilson (@wilsmadein85) reported from Boultham, England
@virginmedia Every time i ring we get told to visit the website then the phone goes dead. And your still taking money for my dad's mobile! I'm amazed how incompetent your services are, do you get special training so you can be this crap?
-
Matthew Cooper (@Matthew56242945) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
Virgin Media fixed the phone issue, a local fault, so I rang Royal Mail to get my money back. The phone went out again during the call. If I was a person with anxiety and depression issues this might be a major problem. Oh wait, I am a person.....
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia Yes. I never seem to get anywhere with that. That's why I called.
-
Nathan Wilson (@wilsmadein85) reported from Gainsborough, England
@virginmedia Tried ringing at the weekend and kept being sent to the website. Your customer service is as much use as a chocolate fire guard
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia That’s not true that why they now allow calls to other urgent services for priority vulnerable customers such as gas, water electric police and medical urgent but not emergency numbers the trouble is this doesn’t allow calls to hone help and life lines though they should!
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia I've had it with your Internet. WiFi is atrocious. Disconnected and stored away. Getting sky tomorrow. Can't cancel virgin as in contract. Even had a new router...
-
MyMinxy (@my_minxy) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia Engineer came Friday, still no service on the phone for 10 hrs to 18 people Saturday, you closed my complaint with £10 credit that I never agreed to, yet still no service waiting for another engineer… my complaint IS NOT RESOLVED @virginmedia
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia The only response is they have given up and will let me out of my contract early. Not a great response for a customer of well over 20 years
-
Erin McDaid (@EmcdNotts) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
@virginmedia Going round in circles using 'support' options listed on App. Our broadband has been intermittent since yesterday afternoon. Restarted hub 3 times. Test still showing intermittent fault. Why do you make it so difficult to contact someone to check it's being sorted?
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia So what your saying is your doing the minimum required by the regulator, and failing your vulnerable customers. As previously stated VM will be mentioned in courts when people are pressing their emergency assist numbers and get a VM message saying their call can’t be connected!
-
Jessica Boatright (@oh_so_boatie) reported from Lincoln District, England
Not a great start to Monday - @virginmedia is down, mobile hotspot not working, and as a freelancer who doesn't get paid when I don't work, losing much needed income while things are ££££ is very irritating 😞
-
MyMinxy (@my_minxy) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia on the phone now for 3rd time as get cut off, no internet and NO HELP, it’s been over 24hrs now, I need the internet
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia I need to talk to a human... my WiFi is s**t Tried customer services all I get is automated push 1 if yes etc etc
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia The biggest problem is you do t know how they work, installers don’t know how to check they work and more importantly no one seems to understand why they’re NEEDED! They will be why someone dies and Virgin WILL be named in the courts at a guilty party!
-
john etheridge (@etheridg) reported from Lincoln District, England

Richard Farrell (@RichardFarrell8) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
Looking for advice. Trying to cancel @virginmedia as they keep saying I owe them £168 but they should have credited me £70 but they have debited me instead. Made several calls over the past weeks to no joy. Logged a formal complaint to no avail. Advice is much appreciated 🤯

-
Mary Donald (@20Marymdonald) reported
Has anyone else noticed a distinct slowdown in Virgin Media’s WiFi speed since we were told that we were to be getting a ‘free upgrade?’ For a company specialising in communications, their customer service is impossible to access. It’s a costly service, consumers deserve better.
-
Sharon Tatton (@shaztat) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for your message. I lost overall broadband service. Restarted the router 3 times which didn’t resolve it so I just left it and used 4G so that I could continue working. The service has since resolved itself about an hour ago.

@virginmedia VM have my number and my email address. Why don't they contact me as they are meant to do following receipt of a complaint?
-
𝖤𝖽𝗆𝗎𝗇𝖽 𝖲𝖼𝗁𝗎𝗌𝗍𝖾𝗋 (@Edmund_Schuster) reported
@cetier1 @virginmedia The problem is that I don’t usually share my slides in advance - i feel that sharing in advance reduces what I can do with my slides on case studies etc. (Also it let’s me hide the fact that I never get to the last 7 slides in every deck 🙄)
-
Waqar Ahmed (@WaqarAhmed2026) reported
@virginmedia I almost everyday, for so many days having breakdowns. Atleast twice a day. It is very annoying specially when I am in meetings. When I go to website, it checks and says everything is fine(because it restores in couple of mins)and doesn't allow me to log a complaint.
-
emily waters (@emily__waters) reported
@virginmedia Cool thank you. In the meantime is there anything further you can do to help us? Please could you send someone out to take a look at it?
-
Ronete Cohen (@rainbowcouch) reported
Won't @virginmedia let anyone tag them? My tweet to them disappeared. I've had broadband issues for ages and they disconnect my calls to their helpline without resolving the issue. I need internet for my work. I'm presenting at a webinar on Saturday. Fix this NOW.
-
Tom Turner (@Tom_Turna96) reported
@virginmedia @Ofcom Not to mention the pervious call made the upgrade team who put the phone down on my whilst I was on hold. I've spoke to 8 of your advisors so far today and the only thing that's clear to me is you don't train your staff! Not one of the transfers has been a warm transfer either.
