@virginmedia Not really. He said that there had been an outage in the area. That seems to happen nearly every day at the moment. Resetting the box multiple times, running a test, waiting then hoping.

@koffee_truffles @virginmedia It admits it’s not working .. says my coverage of a **** .. then offers to fix it for another £60/year .. same week they send me a letter to say my bill is increasing anyway .. clearly forgotten we’re in a pandemic!!!

@virginmedia appalling service virgin media! On 24/12 v6 box broke. So far, 4 telephone calls, 3 promises of calls back (not received), told new box posted to us but it wasn’t, engineer appointment cancelled by virgin with no explanation. Week later & still cant watch tv

Dealing with ongoing @virginmedia connection issues whilst trying to work is bad enough, but then repeated issues whilst trying to watch #sheffieldUnited lose again is just too much. Especially as my bill is pushing £50 a month. Can't work, can't suffer the footie. Come on virgin

Recently renegotiated my contract with @virginmedia just received notification that they are billing me for 50% more than was agreed. Called them and they cannot explain why, and have registered my complaint and someone will call me at some point in the next 48 hours. Scandalous

If you are going to cancel a contract and move to a new provider, don't rely on them taking action from your phone request. They can always say you didn't call then continue to charge for something more expensive, @virginmedia will then pass you to debt collection companies.😔

@virginmedia when are you going to start issuing people the Hub 4 as the SH3 is useless for delivering wifi. Doesn’t help that you seem to be constantly having issues and massive speed problems over the last month. Any chance of us actually getting a service that we pay for?!

@virginmedia It was fixed yesterday morning, we didn't do anything more and sky mobile txtd my mum at 1030am, saying the issue should be fixed and she should be able to receive calls from virgin mobile again. We tried, it worked, they gave my mum 4 months free Netflix and HD channels

@virginmedia Already reported and, allegedly, sorted, thanks. But being told by an automated service that it's something it blatantly isn't, and that an engineer is working on it (how? It's only just happened?) is patronising and, frankly, a bit rubbish.

@itsocheagain @virginmedia Yep. They have no interest in restoring the service. They've started using 3rd party contractors for cabelling but there's clearly no working relationship between the two. I'm just sat here in the middle.

@virginmedia I’ll check it out. But from what I’ve seen on Twitter it is all over the country that people are having this problem. And there are plenty of coverage checker websites which all show your services as down. Overall there’s just a lot of confusion around the whole situation

@virginmedia You estimated fix time is ongoing. First it was 1am, then 10am, now midday. Yet I got a text saying all was back up and running not 20 minutes ago. I realise these things happen, but minor irritations fling me over the edge so I am venting. Fingers crossed it's done at 12.

Anyone at @virginmedia @virginhelp looking into the issue with their "built for #4k" V6 boxes crashing to a black screen & having to be restarted from the plug any time you switch away from @eurosport 523 #UHD to any other channel?! Basically means I can't watch the #AusOpen 🤬
