@virginmedia And I can’t raise a complaint on the site without having an account, which I don’t have, so that is a pointless endeavour as well

@virginmedia @lionsgateplusuk Wish I could enjoy this but my so called 500mb service is so poor I’ve virtually been without internet for a week. Finally your team viewed it as urgent because I do work from home on Zoom and…an engineer is coming on Tuesday. When BT Reach put full fibre in my area it’s bye bye

@KevEdwardsRetro I've been with them for years (Yorkshire Cable before that) but changed to the @vmbusiness service to get 4G backup only to find that it doesn't work when their device is in modem mode. Unable to get through to them though - worst support/customer service I've ever experienced

@StueyDay @virginmedia @lionsgateplusuk The service is awful and customers find it too hard to get a prompt response. Last time this happened it took at least 8-10 emails before they got past the automated letter asking me to switch off, reboot and check all the connections.

@virginmedia I’ve run test after test, at least 5-6 outages a month for last 2 years. Horrendous service and this is the final straw unless you offer me a refund of say £20 a month for last two years, if not I’m going BT and a dodgy box from Mad Frank in pub

@virginmedia you are aware that a lot of older, more vulnerable people have had alarm and safety devices installed that depend on a safe, fast, reliable service. The one that they, like, you know pay a lot of money for

@virginmedia The TV that it glitches on cant reach the box to get it wired in (but its only 10 ft away) I can't hard wire my laptop in. It goes off all the time! And then keep texting me saying you are coming for the WiFi pod after speaking with customer service. Im paying a fortune for this

@vmbusiness strike yet again!😠 Not only are they charging me £7/month for 4G backup that doesn't work, they are now charging me £4 for paper bills that I never asked for. Oh, and still say I owe them money despite me overpaying due a to a red letter that they took by DD later

@virginmedia I’m trying to resolve an issue with your collections team regarding an incorrect default and because I no longer bank with the same account and do not have those details, they won’t talk to me, yet they are happy to just take money off me without telling me why. It’s disgusting

Ollie Nathan

@virginmedia Yes, I've tried everything, every diagnostic and everything on your site, I've called in multiple times to be told it will be resolved day after day and I'm sick of nothing being done, get an engineer out and fix this!
-
Mark Goodman
(@mjgoodman) reported
@virginmedia Perhaps you need to update your advisers and call centre not to tell people they will respond within 72 hours. Or is the hope the problem will just go away?

@virginmedia It might be but that does not make up for my wasted time and your poor communication . It’s no use afterwards telling me why it might have been cancelled

@virginmedia £8 a day is not enough compensation for issues being able to work from home though is it?
-
Ollie Nathan
(@OllieNathan2) reported
@virginmedia They asked me to do the exact same checks you did and guess what? Still nothing...maybe we should just cancel our contract and go with a supplier that doesn't cut our connection for 8 days.
-

@virginmedia Thanks , and is there any chance of being compensated because a complaint isn't going to solve my money issues.

@tombradby @virginmedia Definitely. When we moved house, trying to get through to the correct department was the most Machiavellian experience ever. Must have taken at least 5 days before we finally were able to stop the service
