@virginmedia It's the same place & situation as yesterday, and, once again, after a few hours of no signal, once I actually Tweet about it, it suddenly reappears! No worries here now, ta.

@virginmedia Rebooted my phone earlier, no effect. Not actually had to call or text anyone today, but my signal icon has said 'Emergency Calls Only' all day. I'll definitely check that signal strength link though, thanks.

@TrainedPengling @virginmedia The problem I have with this, is that whenever their broadband has gone down, so had my mobile with them at same time. Like when it all went down nationwide earlier this month. Having free 4g when you actually can't connect is kinda pointless lol

@virginmedia yo, anyway to cancel the TV part of my package, without having to ring, being on hold for ages, yawn.

@virginmedia No, everything on there is telling me 'very good'. But! Ironically, during this very exchange, my signal has popped up (although it's now not as strong as when I started writing this Tweet). Looks like me looking at the website has scared it into working. :D

Decided to leave @virginmedia today after ringing them up. Great service no reason to leave other than I need to be a “new customer” to access the best deals. My monthly bill more than doubled. Hello @NOWTV or @SkyUK I think.....

@sky @virginmedia hey @SkyUK You should tell your customer service: “Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’…

@virginmedia ....I just want to cancel Premier Sports. The guy who answered after 30 mins was polite but your system crashed twice. Not sure it's been cancelled and don't have another spare 30 mins to call again

@virginmedia Nothing has happened today, I'm just commenting on your offer to give all broadband customers free mobile 4g when your broadband goes down. Whenever my broadband had gone down, so has my cellular connection also.

@virginmedia Thanks. I will it’s about the 6 visit though. Engineer turns up, says he can’t fix it, promises to escalate and we never hear from them again.

@madebygoogle can I get some help to work out why nest/Chromecast won't connect to wifi. @virginmedia being unresponsive
-
Michael Rutter
(@M_Rutter) reported
@virginmedia Your agent says he has put in an escalation. I had to mash */# because everything was pushing me to the broken status page. Your engineering teams are deliberating resetting the clock to make the outage seem less bad, and your store your password in plaintext. Astonishingly bad
-

@virginmedia Well if you weren’t sending **** to me we wouldn’t be in this position would we? I’ve given you enough details to take the appropriate action without wasting further time on this with you.

@virginmedia Apparently there are intermittent issues in the area. Ironic when only a couple of weeks ago you sent a text stating you were doing upgrades in the region... #CustomerService #CX

@virginmedia Would be nice once in a while to speak to a UK based adviser who knows what I'm talking about, isn't rude and interrupting cutting me off every sentence, so rude
-

(@chrismevans) reported
@virginmedia No, no problem here! :0) I was pointing out how expensive BT was in comparison to VM.
-
Petra Borzynski
(@petraraspel) reported
@virginmedia Of course we have spoken to the team. We get everything from restarting/resetting the router (which might fix it for a bit, or it might not) to “Fault in the area, you‘ll need to wait“ (while the status always shows everything is ok). It’s just not good enough.
-
Petra Borzynski
(@petraraspel) reported
.@virginmedia and they will be again on the 17th. And yet, you state all is fine. This has been an ongoing issue for MONTHS, and you are unable to solve it. Why are we paying for 350 Mbps when we are not even getting a 10th of that? Borders on fraud. Angry doesn’t cover it.
-
Seb Burtenshaw-Snellgrove
(@sebburtenshaw) reported
@virginmedia your service status page reports that there are no issues in our area, but multiple people in our area have reported loss of internet connection. Is there any way to find out what the resolution time will be?
