Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Barnsley, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Barnsley and nearby locations:

  • ReeceBryan94 Reece Bryan (@ReeceBryan94) reported from Wombwell, England

@virginmedia when are you going to start issuing people the Hub 4 as the SH3 is useless for delivering wifi. Doesn’t help that you seem to be constantly having issues and massive speed problems over the last month. Any chance of us actually getting a service that we pay for?!

  • Gag_N_Bone_Man Graeme Rayner 💙 (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England

@virginmedia I'm moving to sky, saving a tenner a month and adding sports and movies. I might be back in 18 months. Seems like hopping between providers is the only way to get a decent deal. It's perverse logic. Surely cheaper to retain a customer than gain one? But no, so I'm off.

  • ReeceBryan94 Reece Bryan (@ReeceBryan94) reported from Wombwell, England

@virginmedia when are we going to finally have some functional WiFi service from yourself? 3/4 days constant issues... pathetic

  • summitsleap Anita Whittaker (@summitsleap) reported from Conisbrough, England

If you are going to cancel a contract and move to a new provider, don't rely on them taking action from your phone request. They can always say you didn't call then continue to charge for something more expensive, @virginmedia will then pass you to debt collection companies.😔

  • Gag_N_Bone_Man Graeme Rayner 💙 (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England

@iamaafaq @sky @virginmedia Point of principle now. Been with virgin for over a decade and the deal is awful. They don't reward loyalty. Grwat package from Sky. Only are that's worse is speed but for our purposes it's fine. We don't game online and i no longer download torrents etc

  • Joannemarygriff Joannemarygriffin (@Joannemarygriff) reported from Wakefield, England

@virginmedia On demand still not working and every time I sign in it’s been moved on three days for repair in my area. This has been ongoing for two weeks now which I find unacceptable especially when all bills have just gone up in price.

  • Gag_N_Bone_Man Graeme Rayner 💙 (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England

@virginmedia Cos I've been a customer for well over a decade and I'm sick of seeing new customers get given the moon on a stick to join. I reckon your sales team would let a new customer have a night with their wives to sign them up. But loyal customers get nothing.

  • Helen_Claire71 Helen-Claire Stone (@Helen_Claire71) reported from Sheffield, England

Recently renegotiated my contract with @virginmedia just received notification that they are billing me for 50% more than was agreed. Called them and they cannot explain why, and have registered my complaint and someone will call me at some point in the next 48 hours. Scandalous

  • ReeceBryan94 Reece Bryan (@ReeceBryan94) reported from Wombwell, England

@virginmedia when are you going to provide a functional service? Having to constantly reboot your pile of **** “Superhub 3” multiple times a day because you’re saying that’s the fault... what exactly am I paying for? #Virginmediaisshite

  • sihackett86 simon (@sihackett86) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia hi recieved an email regarding an upgrade on WiFi network for hub 3 can you tell me what has been upgraded so I am able to alter my devices accordingly please

  • ianpnaylor Ian Naylor (@ianpnaylor) reported from Sheffield, England

Dealing with ongoing @virginmedia connection issues whilst trying to work is bad enough, but then repeated issues whilst trying to watch #sheffieldUnited lose again is just too much. Especially as my bill is pushing £50 a month. Can't work, can't suffer the footie. Come on virgin

  • PippaKOldfield Pippa Oldfield (@PippaKOldfield) reported from Wakefield, England

@AssistanceVm @TranslatioNinja @virginmedia That’s a bit of a salty reply. I think your customer was referring to various barriers in the way of cancelling her contract, not the difficulty involved in selecting call options. She’s still been unable to cancel and is being pressured her to keep her contract.

  • ianpnaylor Ian Naylor (@ianpnaylor) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia Not really. He said that there had been an outage in the area. That seems to happen nearly every day at the moment. Resetting the box multiple times, running a test, waiting then hoping.

  • summitsleap Anita Whittaker (@summitsleap) reported from Conisbrough, England

@virginmedia please please can someone help me. I left virgin in October and have had several calls to say I didn't ask to. Now they are threatening me with debt recovery. Is this correct

  • running_jane Swim_Bike_Run_Jane 💙 (@running_jane) reported

@virginmedia Yes they were discussed and the agent opened and closed the complaint without resolving a thing. Honestly I’ve been trying to resolve this since February but no one takes ownership. Shocking customer service

  • Bluebackpacker Annie 💙🌈 (@Bluebackpacker) reported

@virginmedia hi after some considerable time spent on your text and Web chat service (as I am on phone calls 7-7pm every day) pending complaint resolution an interim immediate credit of £200 was agreed. Been 2 days and nothing and still no email confirming

  • notquiteYao Yao Song Ng (@notquiteYao) reported from Islington, England

I love @virginmedia ‘s new initiative to get customers to reduce screen time and experience world. As a customer you will be connected to Virgin Media wireless whenever available and have absolutely no data at all.
