@virginmedia ....I just want to cancel Premier Sports. The guy who answered after 30 mins was polite but your system crashed twice. Not sure it's been cancelled and don't have another spare 30 mins to call again

  • heaton2111 John Heaton (@heaton2111) reported from Wakefield, England

@virginmedia Thanks for response. It seems better this morning. All I needed to know is that it was a Virgin issue, not an issue with my hub.

  • tryfbellamy tryf (@tryfbellamy) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia gunna sort your shit internet out or what

  • NickNwarhurst Nick Warhurst (@NickNwarhurst) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia the company that’s only looks after new customers, not long serving ones. Me: paying £34 for vivid100. New customers £29 or £34 for vivid200. VM customer services, well you can have vivid200 for only £54. 😳🤬

  • JaseCritchley Jase Critchley (@JaseCritchley) reported from Hoyland Nether, England

@virginmedia I didn't realise when I negotiated a deal I'd be automatically entitled to no compensation and rubbish customer services. Lesson learnt.

  • Colderthananice Maxine Spencer (@Colderthananice) reported from Mexborough, England

@MetLineDriver @virginmedia Remember they were on my bad company list

@SpottedRothley Yeah mine has been on and off all week, sick of ringing them and listening to there excuses & engineer carnt call till Friday, asked for compo and the Indian advisor starts shouting at me. Unbelievable poor quality of staff at #virginmedia

  • bromley001 Si (@bromley001) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia Rebooted my phone earlier, no effect. Not actually had to call or text anyone today, but my signal icon has said 'Emergency Calls Only' all day. I'll definitely check that signal strength link though, thanks.

  • JoeInSheffield Joe 🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺🔶 (@JoeInSheffield) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia Nothing has happened today, I'm just commenting on your offer to give all broadband customers free mobile 4g when your broadband goes down. Whenever my broadband had gone down, so has my cellular connection also.

  • JoeInSheffield Joe 🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺🔶 (@JoeInSheffield) reported from Sheffield, England

@TrainedPengling @virginmedia The problem I have with this, is that whenever their broadband has gone down, so had my mobile with them at same time. Like when it all went down nationwide earlier this month. Having free 4g when you actually can't connect is kinda pointless lol

  • bromley001 Si (@bromley001) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia No, everything on there is telling me 'very good'. But! Ironically, during this very exchange, my signal has popped up (although it's now not as strong as when I started writing this Tweet). Looks like me looking at the website has scared it into working. :D

  • bromley001 Si (@bromley001) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia It's the same place & situation as yesterday, and, once again, after a few hours of no signal, once I actually Tweet about it, it suddenly reappears! No worries here now, ta.

  • SuperFlySimon Simon Burkinshaw (@SuperFlySimon) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia dear team I can't check account online as don't have login details handy but area code is sheffield 14 I think theres been no TV or WiFi since about 5pm please check status of area

  • crawfordjane74 Jane Crawford (@crawfordjane74) reported from Wentworth, England

@virginmedia ....it's about time that you had a service where you cancel part of your package via your TV.....30 mins on hold isn't funny😡

  • nathandainty Nathan Dainty (@nathandainty) reported from Sheffield, England

@sky @virginmedia hey @SkyUK You should tell your customer service: “Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’…

  • tal_kev kev adams (@tal_kev) reported from Hoyland Nether, England

  • heaton2111 John Heaton (@heaton2111) reported from Wakefield, England

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Gr122o Grizzo (@Gr122o) reported

@virginmedia As I said, I’ve already got a case open with the missing payments team and it’s been 10 days since I first contacted them and 2 days since they last responded. Now I’m in limbo with threats to my services. How would I escalate the issue without having to explain all again?

  • PaulaJHowarth Paula Howarth (@PaulaJHowarth) reported

@asda what’s the point of your customer service? Absolutely crap on a par with @virginmedia

  • carlroach Carl Roach (@carlroach) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia I am fully aware of this webpage, if you follow through any of the options to get information or FAQs, but no way to actually connect with VM directly. I recently used the complaint option but just got a vague response that didn't help me with my concerns.

  • claire23bear Clairebear (@claire23bear) reported

@virginmedia having trouble getting my email on my iPhone. Keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Password works on website email log in. I’ve deleted and reinstalled mail app but still the same problem.

@virginmedia Service status is showing online as fixed (as does the app) - tried pinhole reset which also failed to make any difference.

  • bennettjason5 Jason bennett (@bennettjason5) reported

@virginmedia I'm paying £85 per month for a service I'm not fully receiving. First off I'm told it's a problem your end and would be fixed on 7/12/21 then I'm told today that it's equipment failure at my end. Why were these checks not made on Monday when I raised a complaint. Shocking service

  • jonesy55069032 jonesy (@jonesy55069032) reported

@virginmedia Virgin Media are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Won’t let me cancel even though they’ve not upheld their part of the contract. Internet has been intermittent for 6 months yet want to charge me £140 disconnection fee. Do not enter into a contract! You’ve been warned

  • CarolJo37370887 Carol Johnson (@CarolJo37370887) reported

@virginmedia I would like to make a complaint about the lack of empathy to a disabled and unhappy customer
