Michael Collinson (@Mcollinson72) reported from Wakefield, England@virginmedia ongoing intermittent issues with my broadband for weeks now and yet your website gives no option to get through to anyone to help despite it promising to do so. -
Andrew Poppleton 💙 (@popsgolf) reported from Wentworth, England@O2PriorityUK I’m struggling to connect with app. I’m a @virginmedia account holder. Initial you sent me a code but via my mobile. Now my phone number is placed in the box it doesn’t recognise it. Help?
-
V-Bull (@VanceBulla) reported from Brampton Bierlow, England@virginmedia Faceless customer service. Can’t live chat, can’t chat to anyone on the phone. All they want to do is send you a text or a link to their website. Poor. What am I paying for? Certainly isn’t customer service
-
John Murphy (@John_murphy1) reported from Sheffield, England@virginmedia No problem, and thank you for sorting it out quickly. May be worth making sure telephone staff tell customers about call out charges as I had no idea they applied in this situation.
-
Callum 🏳️🌈 🔴⚪⚫ ☮️ (@Callum_SEND) reported from Brampton Bierlow, England@DysphasiaPV @virginmedia Product is good but customer service terrible

Rt. Hon Annie (@AnnielizzieSten) reported from Sheffield, England@virginmedia It’s strange because the online help claims there’s no problem but the phone says there’s a major problem in the area. Perhaps the online help needs updating because it’s no help at all
-
Sam Watts (@SamWatt30745054) reported from Barnsley, England@virginmedia you are aware that a lot of older, more vulnerable people have had alarm and safety devices installed that depend on a safe, fast, reliable service. The one that they, like, you know pay a lot of money for
-
Andrew Kerrison (@AndrewKerrison6) reported from Rotherham, England@virginmedia I tried to report a problem. The advisor was only interested in selling me a upgraded package. Miss selling packages to customers is not good practice
-
Gary Fretwell (@GaryFretwell1) reported from Wakefield, England@virginmedia I appreciate your advice, but rather than ask fellow customers for a fix I’d rather hope @virginmedia trained staff would be able to rectify this issue. I’ll try the forum, but this is not the way to run a business….@Ofcom
-
Karen Walsh (@kaw7676) reported from Normanton, England@virginmedia it’s impossible to contact them with a complaint if you aren’t a customer.
-
Andy Kershaw Media 🎙 (@andyksheffield) reported from Sheffield, England@StueyDay @virginmedia @lionsgateplusuk The service is awful and customers find it too hard to get a prompt response. Last time this happened it took at least 8-10 emails before they got past the automated letter asking me to switch off, reboot and check all the connections.
-
Debbie 💜 🦋🦉 (@DeborahTaylor3) reported from Sheffield, England@virginmedia I hung up the call, rang back and spoke with a lovely man. Reset my email, password and answered all my quedtions. All the men are when you call, the female was awful. But thank you for the response

-
Victims Voice (@victimsvoice73) reported from Sheffield, EnglandAnyone recommend a phone network been with @O2 for years and since it merged with @virginmedia it’s shocking. When I went on holiday before I’d never had problems this year wouldn’t let me go my own internet & here signal keeps going for phoning not to mention rise in scam calls
-
Callum 🏳️🌈 🔴⚪⚫ 🔰 (@Callum_SEND) reported from Brampton Bierlow, England@virginmedia @virginmedia @O2 if you're going to sell merged packages to your customers then you really need to improve your joint customer service.. just batting me back to the other without an answer is simply unacceptable

-
Joanna Ayliffe (@joanna_ayliffe) reported@virginmedia how do you manage to charge me for a service you barely provided but won't let me bill you £25 for an engineer who did not arrive between 8 and 12 on the day in question?
-
Michelle Wright (@EDsetMefree) reported@virginmedia been with you ever since you were ntlworld, you recently changed my phone to digital with back up emergency phone, the engineer didn’t take my disability into account, has put my phone where I can’t even get to it, impossible to get through to you as you cut the call before connecting, your now not giving me the service I am paying for and in breach of contract, so I am going to cancel my direct debit for all services including tv
-
lucy barnett (@lucebarnett) reported@EE I was on a call for 42 minutes this morning and got nowhere. Nobody wants to take any responsibility and suggesting I didn’t order despite the fact SIMs have moved over to One plan and Virgin Media contacted me about leaving. Very poor service
-
Chris Davis (@cdavo25) reported@MaxiedotVox @virginmedia Yea iv had issues for over a week now, they tell me 'o it will be fixed by the 23rd' 20min ago they text me saying they've found the issue and the engineer is on his way..... the 29th at 4pm 🤬🤬 where's the engineer coming from is it takes 6days @virginmedia

John (@reversebrexit22) reported@virginmedia I have issues with my hub dropping out. I’ve done all of the checks and waited on the chat for 20 mins for a “customer support “ individual to drop off after 5 minutes because I didn’t respond with 10 seconds of him asking a question. I have screen shots as proof
-
Robby Yung ⦿⦿⦿ (@viewfromhk) reported@0xsachi I think "moat" is just a polite way of saying monopoly. First mover advantage builds a brand and customer stickiness, and I think this should be the goal, personally. But all these anti-competitive practices like making cancelling services ridiculously hard (hello @virginmedia ) or walling the garden once you get enough users (hello @facebook Open Graph) should be cracked down on, in my opinion.
