@KevEdwardsRetro I've been with them for years (Yorkshire Cable before that) but changed to the @vmbusiness service to get 4G backup only to find that it doesn't work when their device is in modem mode. Unable to get through to them though - worst support/customer service I've ever experienced

@virginmedia you are aware that a lot of older, more vulnerable people have had alarm and safety devices installed that depend on a safe, fast, reliable service. The one that they, like, you know pay a lot of money for

@virginmedia And I can’t raise a complaint on the site without having an account, which I don’t have, so that is a pointless endeavour as well

@virginmedia I’ve run test after test, at least 5-6 outages a month for last 2 years. Horrendous service and this is the final straw unless you offer me a refund of say £20 a month for last two years, if not I’m going BT and a dodgy box from Mad Frank in pub

@virginmedia The TV that it glitches on cant reach the box to get it wired in (but its only 10 ft away) I can't hard wire my laptop in. It goes off all the time! And then keep texting me saying you are coming for the WiFi pod after speaking with customer service. Im paying a fortune for this

@virginmedia all services in the WF1 area of Wakefield have been down all day and looking like 6pm to be fixed. Will you be applying any credit to people's accounts?? Good will gesture and all that! #wakefield

@virginmedia I've checked and definitely not entitled due to the amount of days with no service. Like I said, a good will gesture. People who are working from home haven't been able to work for a start. Only been with you a few weeks and have nothing but issues.

@virginmedia @lionsgateplusuk Wish I could enjoy this but my so called 500mb service is so poor I’ve virtually been without internet for a week. Finally your team viewed it as urgent because I do work from home on Zoom and…an engineer is coming on Tuesday. When BT Reach put full fibre in my area it’s bye bye

@StueyDay @virginmedia @lionsgateplusuk The service is awful and customers find it too hard to get a prompt response. Last time this happened it took at least 8-10 emails before they got past the automated letter asking me to switch off, reboot and check all the connections.

@vmbusiness strike yet again!😠 Not only are they charging me £7/month for 4G backup that doesn't work, they are now charging me £4 for paper bills that I never asked for. Oh, and still say I owe them money despite me overpaying due a to a red letter that they took by DD later

@virginmedia Yep it’s still happening 3 months in some work some don’t. I’m getting used this with VM now. Some things I pay for I get and other things I don’t. This service could be so great but i’m massively disappointed. I look forward to a standard reply, text here, call there etc etc etc

Scofflaw Conor

Here @virginmedia . Broadband completely snafu’d in BT8, and your automated customer service is advising it won’t be fixed until late tomorrow morning. Surely we can do better than that? Especially when most of us are dependent on it to work from home.

@virginmedia @virginmedia Do you realise what you are doing is not even legal? You can’t keep charging me for a service I’m not receiving. What’s worse is my friend has exactly the same package has all his services and is paying over £20 less on a 12 month contract and not the my 18 month one
