  • HarlamTK

@virginmedia And I can’t raise a complaint on the site without having an account, which I don’t have, so that is a pointless endeavour as well

  • John_murphy1
John Murphy (@John_murphy1) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia I’ve had that email. I’ve also had another email this morning saying they’re sorry to hear I’m unhappy with my broadband speed. I’m not! I’m unhappy with a call out charge being applied, which was promised to be reversed and never has been!

  • kaw7676
Karen Walsh (@kaw7676) reported from Normanton, England

@virginmedia it’s impossible to contact them with a complaint if you aren’t a customer.

  • EJJFoster

@virginmedia I have tried the status but its saying the service is fine. Yet all the people on out estate are complaining they cannot get onto Virgin internet. We cannot book an engineer as isolating. Why is it constantly broken or speeds so slow?

  • SheltonAndy

Absolutely disgraceful service from @virginmedia again. If I could change I would! Do not go with them if you have a choice!!

@virginmedia ongoing intermittent issues with my broadband for weeks now and yet your website gives no option to get through to anyone to help despite it promising to do so. Keeps telling me to check back in 24 hours. Unacceptable level of service!

  • mandybaps1
Amanda Brightmore (@mandybaps1) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia No one has informed me of this, I feel I have been misold again very poor. No one mentioned this previously I have been told it was a new promotional that was added, so again alot of tosh. Does anyone know what they are doing at virgin.

  • John_murphy1
John Murphy (@John_murphy1) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia No problem, and thank you for sorting it out quickly. May be worth making sure telephone staff tell customers about call out charges as I had no idea they applied in this situation.

  • John_murphy1
John Murphy (@John_murphy1) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia how do I order a new hub please? My current one loses network access and needs rebooting every hour or so. Not ideal when working from home. There are no known service issues so I’m thinking it’s a hub issue.

  • rwgladwin
Richard Gladwin (@rwgladwin) reported from Sheffield, England

@virginmedia were there issues in S9 around 1020 this morning?

@virginmedia Are you able to contact the staff that used to work on them because I have a long running complaint and despite forum staff having access to info nobody at 150 can help and apparently the ONLY time my problem got identified and fixed nobody can find except for forum staff.

  • Lifeline04India

  • JoeFarrugia
    Joe Farrugia 🇬🇧🇲🇹🇪🇺 (@JoeFarrugia) reported

Being messed up by @virginmedia. 1st we were never told the old box must be returned then they charge £90 for not returning it. Trying to get this sorted is such a hassle. You’re told one thing, nothing gets done then you’re told something else.

  • gloucesterglass
    Gloucester Glass (@gloucesterglass) reported

@virginmedia I appreciate you taking the time to reply but I am now looking at alternatives. My home internet drops out far too often and mobile signal in Quedgeley is no way good enough for 21st Century.

  • GeekyHairy
    GeekyHairyBestia (@GeekyHairy) reported

@virginmedia what the hell. Yet again service down in my area. It’s been consistent the two years I’ve been here but you’re the only option but yet again this week it’s been consistent. It’s clear you can not provide on your network to all houses in area so so it we pay for this

  • TheModSmithYT
    TheModSmith (@TheModSmithYT) reported

My household has been with @virginmedia for around 25 years. We’re told new customers at our address can get full fibre/XGS-PON, but existing customers can’t migrate. So we’re stuck on older HFC/DOCSIS with Gig1 upload around 100Mbps. Why must loyal customers cancel/rejoin?
