@virginmedia Not really. He said that there had been an outage in the area. That seems to happen nearly every day at the moment. Resetting the box multiple times, running a test, waiting then hoping.

@virginmedia when are you going to provide a functional service? Having to constantly reboot your pile of **** “Superhub 3” multiple times a day because you’re saying that’s the fault... what exactly am I paying for? #Virginmediaisshite

Recently renegotiated my contract with @virginmedia just received notification that they are billing me for 50% more than was agreed. Called them and they cannot explain why, and have registered my complaint and someone will call me at some point in the next 48 hours. Scandalous

@virginmedia Cos I've been a customer for well over a decade and I'm sick of seeing new customers get given the moon on a stick to join. I reckon your sales team would let a new customer have a night with their wives to sign them up. But loyal customers get nothing.

@virginmedia I'm moving to sky, saving a tenner a month and adding sports and movies. I might be back in 18 months. Seems like hopping between providers is the only way to get a decent deal. It's perverse logic. Surely cheaper to retain a customer than gain one? But no, so I'm off.

@AssistanceVm @TranslatioNinja @virginmedia That’s a bit of a salty reply. I think your customer was referring to various barriers in the way of cancelling her contract, not the difficulty involved in selecting call options. She’s still been unable to cancel and is being pressured her to keep her contract.

@virginmedia Well this is a cracking start. A call back tomorrow rescues the situation. Been a virgin customer since broadband came along. Fingers crossed.

@virginmedia Hi, Liam said someone would call back tomorrow. No issue with service, just can't have in the new build. The service is not in the area. Let's see if we get the call back tomorrow. Shouldn't treat a leaving customer like ****.

Dealing with ongoing @virginmedia connection issues whilst trying to work is bad enough, but then repeated issues whilst trying to watch #sheffieldUnited lose again is just too much. Especially as my bill is pushing £50 a month. Can't work, can't suffer the footie. Come on virgin

@virginmedia On demand still not working and every time I sign in it’s been moved on three days for repair in my area. This has been ongoing for two weeks now which I find unacceptable especially when all bills have just gone up in price.

If you are going to cancel a contract and move to a new provider, don't rely on them taking action from your phone request. They can always say you didn't call then continue to charge for something more expensive, @virginmedia will then pass you to debt collection companies.😔

@virginmedia very frustrated - incomplete installation, inconsistent broadband, no response to complaint of 7/4 and now charged £300 more for leaving (due to house move) than you told us on the phone. So glad that I won’t have anything to do with you any more.

@virginmedia I spoke to your colleague on Saturday (26/6) who couldn't fix this but stayed is get a call the same day from someone in IT. I never got that call. Now I get a text - as below - and as expected the link doesn't work. I still can't view my 4 mobile numbers on my account.
-
Tim Landeg

@virginmedia I have been on the phone for 40 minutes today, yet again, and after speaking with 2 more CSRs, still no resolution on where my TV box is. Its like Virgin Media is a new start-up, with 2 people working them.
-

@virginmedia The number was 0800 408 9340. They sounded like genuine VM call centre staff, the same scripted conversation I've had many times over the years of being a loyal customer. Just once I'd like to actually be rewarded rather than have to play the "I'm thinking of leaving game"

@virginmedia Yeah I used that. The TV one doesn’t work just says page not found. The internet one had me in a continuous loop of checking cables until your site updated saying there was an issue.

Rang @virginmedia. Intermittent connection wired&wireless. Advised the lady of sync loss on network status. "Can you change you wireless settings on the router please?". What has that got to do with loss of sync m'dear? "Can I put you on hold please?". Engineer coming Wednesday..

@zoeharcombe It was never good before COVID but now it's worse & COVID is merely an excuse. I spent 56 minutes getting through to BT (the largest telecoms company in Britain!). A telecoms company that can't answer the phone! Mind you marginally better than Virgin Media! 1hr 15 mins!
