    @virginmedia The phone is not working and your engineer was arranged to call today between 1.00 and 6.00pm needless to say he did not arrive or give me a call to arrange another day.

    @virginmedia Just said it would be back on by 1230. It’s not … paying a fortune (way above the odds!) a month for service I’m not getting. New contract with another provider incoming.

    @virginmedia Except I can’t because I get fobbed off and they just try to get me to upgrade my package. Seriously. I’d just like to know if there is some systemic complex issue, as you suggest, or not.

    @virginmedia What complex issue? Can you explain what it is? Your service status says it’s fine. I have to wait a week for an engineer. Forgive me for being cynical.

    @virginmedia yes well after waiting in for five hours yesterday for an engineer to come I was just told it had been rearranged for the 28th. The great pity is they never informed me to find out if that was OK, such gross inefficiency abounds within your organisation.

    @virginmedia Since yesterday afternoon. I was working so not entirely sure but approx 24 hours. £160 a month to be without even “free” channels. I am aware nothing is without fault but the poor customer service and lack of ability to locate/tell us what the issue is, is appalling.

    @virginmedia I have now had no service - internet, tv, phone - for 24 hours. It’s impossible to speak with someone about this. There is only a vague automated message about a ‘complicated problem’. How can I get this fixed? What are you doing to address this?

    @virginmedia Read my tweet. I have been sent a “resolution” already. Which advised to return the box/speak to online chat if further issues. As I have pointed out multiple times I have already returned the box. This is absolutely infuriating at this point.

    @virginmedia Yes I have phoned yet again this morning so I think your organisation are considering some sort of compensation for the five weeks I have been without the service. No doubt it will be a paltry sum in comparison to what I pay every month.

    @virginmedia I tried to get help but didn’t get through to anyone just a text sent to my mobile telling me how to fix it but no joy. Checked the forums and turns out I’m not alone and the upgrade is rubbish so just stuck it in the cupboard.. hopeless!

    @virginmedia I managed to find a phone number to call you. The message 'don't contact us unless you need to' isn't great is it! Follow up text asks me to rate VM on the basis of my interaction. Not fair is it. Not the help desk fault if everything else is so bad.

    @virginmedia hi virgin I have been having problems with my Internet for months. I have called you 3 times now and an engineer was due to come yesterday but they didn't turn up. Called you yesterday as soon as I said engineer was supposed to come today the lady put phone down !!
