Investigation Findings The regulatory investigation covered calls made between January 1, 2022, and September 11, 2024. Ofcom found that MILLIONS of customer service interactions were mishandled to prevent or delay cancellations. Specific tactics included: • Deliberately dropping or hanging up calls when customers asked to cancel. Putting callers on hold for no reason to frustrate them Excessive and unnecessary call transfers between departments. Using a two-tier retention system where only specific agents were allowed to process final cancellations. THIS LOT ARE CONFIRMED CRUEL SCAMMERS

Oracle (@biggle1908) reportedLooking for some advice lovely people. For twenty something years I have had broadband from BT and TV from Sky. Sky’s renewal is coming in at over £100 per month and am currently paying £62 for BT which is now painfully slow. I have been looking at Virgin Media for both and this gives me a saving of around £70 per month for much faster broadband. What are people’s experiences with Virgin Media. Thanks in advance.

Dr Ioannis Zisis 🏴🇬🇷🇪🇺 (@zisisioa) reportedAbysmal service from @virginmedia ...24hours without broadband/tv and so much time wasted on chatbot checks....they dont even bother to log a case.
-
Alex DM || ⭐ || (@Xoman08) reported@PitRucker99 @Starlink The UK is not that bad. Spain is much worse. People pay €49 / month for internet. The problem in the UK is lack of "physical options" but it is getting better: 1. Virgin Media (cable) 2. BT - Telephone lines - ADSL - Fiber optic 3. Three - 5G modem 4. Starlink
-
paul d (@pauldewolfe) reported@virginmedia Really disappointed. Called to renew my contract but couldn’t get a good enough deal, so wanted to cancel. They couldn’t process it and told me to call back. I did, gave my name, email, ph number, bank details and last payment, but they still couldn’t pass security.
-
Greg Cunnington (@Yuzi87) reported@virginmedia I've been a Virgin Media customer for 20 years, I've been paying out of contract rates at £109 a month for 2 years without realising. When I create a package as a new customer its £37 a month, however as a long time customer my new price is £68. Nice way to treat your Customers!

Davie G 🇬🇧 (@fredbeare) reportedDo @EE have any actual humans, other than those on commission in sales, working for them? Almost as bad as Virgin Media, certainly worse than @BT who seemed to have taken the worst from both companies and merged. Are there no good comms companies out there?
