@virginmedia I have been offered the opportunity to complain, but as a customer of 20+ years I am aware complaints tend to get ignored. At its worst speed was down to 0.5Mega bits per second ... At its best (for 20 minutes or so) maybe 150Mega bits per second. Paying for 200Mbps .....

  • Clive_Burt
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England

@virginmedia I have not made any changes, and I have a Hub 3, and a pair of 5 year old TiVo boxes, one of which is having problems playing back things that have been recorded. But as I don't want waste an hour if my time in a queue, I shall just look forward to the end of the contract ....

@virginmedia Also perhap if you read the full thread, it would help.

  • oh_so_boatie
Jessica Boatright (@oh_so_boatie) reported from Lincoln District, England

Not a great start to Monday - @virginmedia is down, mobile hotspot not working, and as a freelancer who doesn't get paid when I don't work, losing much needed income while things are ££££ is very irritating 😞

  • Clive_Burt
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England

@virginmedia Is it an instructional twitch of all customer service officers, to say "I am sorry ....", wouldn't it be better if your organisation actually did something about it? So it becomes the exception and is not the norm?

  • Clive_Burt
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England

@SimonTa44447286 @virginmedia @simonkeenan007 With my discounts, my monthly payment was £63, end of discounts £169 + £4 price rise (discounts due to outage 18 months ago). Spent an hour haggling ... revises price to £68.

@virginmedia Your web app says there is no problem, but your telephone diagnostic services says there is? Which is correct?

  • Pogit
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England

@virginmedia That’s not true that why they now allow calls to other urgent services for priority vulnerable customers such as gas, water electric police and medical urgent but not emergency numbers the trouble is this doesn’t allow calls to hone help and life lines though they should!

  • ianday79
ian day (@ianday79) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

@RacingMainline You've just deleted me, but I replied straight away. I had two chats open and one was to you and the other to virgin media as I was upgrading my TV service but I said no thanks to you and not to virgin but u got me all wrong!

  • Clive_Burt
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England

@virginmedia Er no, if you had read the thread in its entirety, you will see that I said I was getting someone to look at how to organise the internal network on the house, and I would be leaving at the end of my contract, in 17 months. I would not recommend Virgins services to anyone.

  • Pogit
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England

A recorded voice saying sorry only calls to an emergency number are allowed is not much help of your lying on the floor only able to press your emergency lanyard! @virginmedia urgent training is required to ensure people aren’t left in this situation. #unacceptable #LivesAtRisk

  • ceeo
Ceefit (@ceeo) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

@virginmedia Internet speeds up and down or not on at all. 2 hours on phone to be cut off! Not happy I've got work to complete. Your customer service is poor! #virginmedia

@virginmedia I’ve given up. You’ve failed yet again to provide what I we needed. I’m not surprised. Virgin Media is fast becoming synonymous with this lack of service. I do NOT recommend you to friends and family.
