@virginmedia @Sonos I don't want meaningless "Sorry for the poor service" what I want is it to be fixed, and fixed permanently, and to be supplied with what I am paying for, which is a stable 200Mbs service.

@virginmedia I’ve given up. You’ve failed yet again to provide what I we needed. I’m not surprised. Virgin Media is fast becoming synonymous with this lack of service. I do NOT recommend you to friends and family.

So @virginmedia refused to let @SkyUK transfer our landline so now all services have been removed by SKY. How can people work from home when you give a fix date of 3 December - thus needs sorting now - no TV, no WiFi no phone

@virginmedia Second day running, get to 4pm and the internet crashes ... Unfortunately I do not have the luxury to stop work and try to fix it

@virginmedia I have been offered the opportunity to complain, but as a customer of 20+ years I am aware complaints tend to get ignored. At its worst speed was down to 0.5Mega bits per second ... At its best (for 20 minutes or so) maybe 150Mega bits per second. Paying for 200Mbps .....

@virginmedia You can tell it's the weekend when your SONOS speaker is not able to stream radio on a consistent basis, due to intermittent internet problems, which I reported two weeks ago, got a visit on the following Wednesday, got told the installation was poor and left.

@virginmedia Your web app says there is no problem, but your telephone diagnostic services says there is? Which is correct?

@virginmedia It’s intermittent. Not off often enough to be called no service or you’d have to pay us back for the lack of service but not on long enough to be much use.

@virginmedia Er no, if you had read the thread in its entirety, you will see that I said I was getting someone to look at how to organise the internal network on the house, and I would be leaving at the end of my contract, in 17 months. I would not recommend Virgins services to anyone.

@virginmedia My Daught is having significant problems with her IPAD as result, and using her phones data (no we are not Virgin phones), which is costing her, when your network falters, I then switch to my NHS phone and use its data, and my simply uses her work phone ...both essential workers.

@virginmedia After an hour and ten minutes of appalling noise the woman who put us back on hold disconnected us. Five minutes into the new call and all we want to do now is cancel the contract that you’ve failed to provide.

@virginmedia I do really get fed up with VirginMedias poor service and platitudes. The speed on my internet connection is down less than 56kb, but your Helpdesk technicians consider this to be a problem

@virginmedia I do get fed up with @virginmedia platitudes and inability to solve why I have poor connections speed, down to 28kbs at the moment, but your Helpdesk, after I waited 45 minutes, do not consider this to be a problem. Try downloading a 100Mb spreadsheet at that speed.

@virginmedia This was 14 days ago (17/09/2020), and I cannot remember the website, and the network engineer advised (19/09/202) me it might 24 hours before it settled .... Since then it's been variable ....

Hi @virginmedia. Yes I do indeed know my contract is coming to an end. Yes I know I could get a better deal. I've been aware of it for several weeks. Do you realise that the best way to keep me as a customer would be to not barrage me with sale calls every ******* day?

Mr Miran Pankhania

@Ofcom @virginmedia @Plusnet Thanks. I have submitted an advisory form to make a formal log of my issue. I will have this investigated further if it is not resolved with a view to pursuing an independent decision from either of the bodies mentioned.

@virginmedia Um this doesn’t sound like the solution to my issue. If I do this the connection to quite a few of my devices will die as the router has been renamed from the default.

@virginmedia 12pm is good. I'll take anything since I can't call Customer Services because the system is flawed and won't accept my call unless I pay the bill which is incorrect due to Virgin Media making a mistake. I don't know how you're not yet being investigated by @financialombuds

So... it would seem @CNN will no longer be available on @VirginMedia (UK) after the 31st of August. Anyone know why? That really sucks. CNN are one of the very best out there.

@OST_R6 @bt_uk Unfortunately I can’t get Virgin Media in my area to bypass Openreach altogether. When things like SpaceX starlink comes down in price Openreach will be so far behind they will wish they actually rolled out fibre.
