@virginmedia After an hour and ten minutes of appalling noise the woman who put us back on hold disconnected us. Five minutes into the new call and all we want to do now is cancel the contract that you’ve failed to provide.
-
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England
@virginmedia Er no, if you had read the thread in its entirety, you will see that I said I was getting someone to look at how to organise the internal network on the house, and I would be leaving at the end of my contract, in 17 months. I would not recommend Virgins services to anyone.

-
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England
@virginmedia My Daught is having significant problems with her IPAD as result, and using her phones data (no we are not Virgin phones), which is costing her, when your network falters, I then switch to my NHS phone and use its data, and my simply uses her work phone ...both essential workers.

@virginmedia It took until 18:30 for your engineer to call me. Even now the service keeps dropping out ....I hope your techs onto the problem
-
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England
@virginmedia Because I wouldn't connect a laptop to an unknown (to me) website, through the router, where the could alledgely monitor connection speeds. When your engineer visited he had to escalate the issue to your network team. Because I had 1 downstream & 1 upstream not the 24 down and 4.

@virginmedia Ok Virginmedia, the WiFi extender for which paying for (installed on 27th May 2020) has ceased working, this may or may not be as a result of the issues from the weekend or not, but before the issues started, it worked, afterwards it didn't. How do I get it replaced?
-
Imp & Angel (@ImpAngel1) reported from North Hykeham, England
Extremely frustrated and disappointed at the very poor service we're receiving from @vmbusiness as we bring five new phone contracts over from EE. No reply to emails, no returned tel calls. #unacceptable

@virginmedia I gave in and decided to call. 30 minutes listening to the worst quality music ever! And counting... :’( @virginmedia sucks *****
-
Clive Burt (@Clive_Burt) reported from North Hykeham, England
@virginmedia I have been offered the opportunity to complain, but as a customer of 20+ years I am aware complaints tend to get ignored. At its worst speed was down to 0.5Mega bits per second ... At its best (for 20 minutes or so) maybe 150Mega bits per second. Paying for 200Mbps .....

@virginmedia I’ve tried that, it says everything is fine and there’s no problems, but I’m still having trouble playing games online which is the reason I upgraded. Phone WiFi wasn’t doing great but is now fine, tv is brilliant, but playing online still an issue. It’s practically unusable

@virginmedia @NetflixUK Just remember that Virgin will increase your price while in contract and don't wait until contract expires or you'll pay the new inflated price and need give 30 days notice to cancel. If you choose to stay you will still pay more than a new customer. How's that for loyalty 🙄
