@virginmedia It’s a media account, but it was more about the quality of the call. It’s not the way to treat a customer. Thanks

-
Moose And Me (@mooseandme1) reported from Great Harwood, England
@virginmedia you’ve sent me an outrageous bill with £35 in charges that you said you were waiving. Non of your call centres are open (undertandably) I cant get text support & there’s no other help available. You are going to bill me £120 for a £50 service and I can stop you.

@Craig273 @virginmedia No. I just want to cancel sky sports as for £31.75 a month I don’t get the use out of it. I was lied to saying it would affect my package discount. I already get BT sport for free and if Amazon will be streaming more it’s pointless
-
Saeed Uchiha (@saeedahmed0) reported from Burnley, England
@virginmedia your internet is awful! I’m not paying for a black box that flashes lights. Fix up
-
𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝕐𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕊ℍ (@MATTYB00SH) reported from Burnley, England
Switching broadband providers from Virgin Media to Sky is proving to be such a bad decision while trying to work from home these last 5 weeks. Multiple connection drops every morning. It's a poor situation when tethering to your phone data is far more reliable. @SkyHelpTeam
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
MrJakosaurus (@MrJakosaurus) reported
@virginmedia Internal feedback provided is all the email said. Not much use to us! It’s not an area issue or anything, it’s a known issue with any prior Hub to the Hub 5. The Hub 5 solves a lot of issues!
-
Jarryd Mulligan 🇺🇦 (@JarrydMulligan) reported
@virginmedia Hello, I’ve left it a few days now for the issue to be resolved but I am still unable to log in to virgin media go
-
therightplace (@therightplace11) reported
@virginmedia please train your customer support to not disconnect their customer calls when they cannot answer a question. It must be daunting for them when the answer to a question is scripted.
-
Ray Price (@DocxxRay) reported
@virginmedia Wired from the router between 2 and 6 Mbps download and 0.1 upload. It has already been confirmed this is a local area network issue
-
Oli Norrington (@OliNorrington) reported
@virginmedia Bad! I called 0345 454 1111 and it recognised the issue but said it won’t be fixed until 4pm. Do you have any more information? Is this recurring issue ever going to be fixed or is my internet access now always just a roll of the dice? What are my options?
-
James Moran #ItsHappening 🇬🇧🇺🇦 (@Jpjm1964) reported
Call just now from 01422 382048, caller claimed to be @virginmedia & had noticed suspicious internet activity! When pointed out I don't have Virgin she stated ISPs share info and work jointly! Said I'd never heard such a load of tosh & she put the phone down! Beware! #scammers
-
MrJakosaurus (@MrJakosaurus) reported
@virginmedia For us it’d be for our entire house via a 2.5G ethernet switch. Other issues are to do with ping time, jitter and packet loss when the Hub 4 is reaching max download/upload speeds that it can handle. Not great for gaming. Just don’t understand how a complaint can be just closed.
-
Monica Patel 💜💙 (@MonPatel18) reported
@virginmedia It was returned a month ago. You should review the process in that case as it is not customer friendly at all - there is no way to respond on the auto emails/texts and then to receive an email telling me I will be charged for it. How long does it take to add it back to the system
-
Jenny (@Jenny_Wren_44) reported
@virginmedia Trying to make yourself understood to your call centre colleagues is very time consuming and exasperating. Numerous calls over 2 days passed from pillar to post and issues still not resolved. Very poor.
-
Carina Crain (@mummycrain) reported
@virginmedia The loss of service at the beginning of July. Days with no Internet and we work from home
