@YourSSE Boom!! I joined today. I thought it was Monday. What a fantastic service so far! No cutting off, no having to constantly switch between Wi-fi and 3/4G because the routers having a moment and double the speed of my previous supplier! Sorry @VodafoneUK but these guys kick ass!

Compliments where compliments are due! I can honestly say I am so super impressed with the quality of service with @YourSSE broadband! Not a single drop in connection and no problems at all! I battled for years with constant connection issues with @SkyUK @BT and @VodafoneUK.

Sadly looks like after 3 years with @VodafoneUK when my contract ends in August, I'll be joining another network. Charging me £40 more than it should and refusing correct the bill

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are truly awful. Had a bafflingly dreadful experience with their broadband service once which I had to annul after a couple of months of going round in circles with “customer service”. Never again. Sorry for your loss.

@VodafoneUK Large corporate's, when they have parts of the organisation that start to lose money often end up behaving this way. They cycle through CEO's until they find someone who is willing to behave in terrible ways in order to staunch the losses and get their bonus payment.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is very similar situation we found ourselves in last year with @VodafoneUK despite having a POA for my father in law. Unhelpful, rude, debt collection agency, bills which we paid as they were threatening, and no understanding or empathy of the situation.

They kept trying to take monthly DD when we had his accounts frozen, because he was not around to pay them. Started getting late payment charges. Reason for late payment on THEIR letter - deceased!!!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mum was charged double to continue with Virgin when my step-dad died. 🥹 She ended account-similar issues.I think she had to write in the end, I know it was very stressful for her.Then when trying to start with another provider I had to help - extremely time consuming. 🤨

Still took money from our account every month when we left, then chased us for debt, there wasn't any and they owed us, never got a penny back.

I found a £1k pad had been bought fraudulently and they randomly cancelled one of our phones. No apology just indifference. Total OCG behaviour.
