Was told after near 2 hrs on hold yesterday could take up to 3 days to fix! Its an internal Vodafone issue as neighbours BT broadband works.

After 8 mths I paid the contract off due to poor c/s. 10 yrs later, according to all my credit files, I still owe them £8!! Can't cancel as can't pass security. NIGHTMARE

It happens ... wills not updated etc. You're right tho, I had no issues cancelling as executor 2y ago. I would not pay a solicitor to do that however! If provided with a death certificate by anyone with authority over her estate, legally they must cancel the service. Power of attorney over your father doesn’t make you your mother’s executor
