    @BurdensSarah @VodafoneUK Morning Sarah. I think that old records can remain for up to six years, but that they can be removed earlier, at the discretion of the company concerned. I would persist with @VodafoneUK. They should help. Best of luck.

    You know it’s bad when you need to make a complaint about the complaints department. Just when you think you’ve reached the absolute bottom of customer service along comes @VodafoneUK to prove me wrong. Never in my life have a complaints department been so incredibly rude.

    @ThreeUKSupport @BrianJudge724 Or you can switch to literally any other UK network and have them put a bar on such charges. @VodafoneUK even did the right thing and refunded me directly after I got caught by a similar scam.

    @BtonGirlProbs @VodafoneUK Omg they’re the worst company ever! They used to take my bill 3 times a month 😫 then whenever I would complain call me a liar even tho I had bank statements to prove it!!

    @CeriJane @VodafoneUK We have exactly the same problem. Complaints departments are supposed to be helpful and understanding. @VodafoneUK are rude, unhelpful and uncaring. Everything you’re not supposed to be.

    @Sic5ense @ThreeUK This why I’ll never consider @ThreeUK, and I’ll continue to advise friends and family against them. @VodafoneUK are by no means perfect, but they do at least allow you to block these scams and they also refunded me when I complained as a “goodwill” gesture.

    Switched to Vodafone broadband last night on the promise that it would be activated in the 15th when my other service runs out. Now I'm being told the 17th. I have to remotely and won't have Internet. Very disappointed @VodafoneUK

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m afraid sorting out the affairs of a loved one shows the best and the worst. For me, the veterans association were absolutely outstanding. Halifax and HSBC were truly terrible to deal with. I’m sorry you and family had to go through this.

    @VodafoneUK @speckyninja Hey @VodafoneUK how about you write something into your contracts (that no one reads) that’s allows you to suspend accounts on receipt of a credible ‘customer deceased’ call. This can be followed up in writing and if not challenged in 30 days accepted and the account closed?

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Some of these techy companies need to train their staff on how to deal with the issues of their older customers. 14 years ago I tried to cancel my dad’s mobile phone contract under a POA when he had dementia - it was like nailing jelly to a tree. Nothing it seems has changed

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Condolences to your family this is terrible service. I was in a similar situation recently and can only say the company I dealt with had it sorted in one phone call with no charge and told to keep phone. Hope things are sorted soon.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Awful treatment. I’ll never deal with vodaphone again after they kept cancelling my DD without instruction then chasing for debts then assuring they’d fixed it, the same cycle again. Utterly useless…….

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Why don't you integrate with @LifeLedger1 or something? You need to make this process easy for people and we are probably not far off the point where one in four UK deaths will need to cancel an account with you.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are so bad. I want to leave them but I’m afraid they’ll mess up the admin process. They never apply the NHS discount correctly the first time, can’t access our online account etc
