    Have nothing but problems with @VodafoneUK. On hold again for another 35 mins about an issue they said they sorted yesterday. Paying £75 a month for a brand new phone that doesn’t work because of the provider. Disappointed.

    @VodafoneUK unbelievable response from your contact centre around Ukrainian refugee SIM cards. Call handler could not have been more unhelpful or rude. As a long standing @VodafoneGroup customer I am shocked by the response I have just had. Unhelpful in the extreme.

    @VodafoneUK Contradiction much lol "When the offer ends, the data will likely drop back down to 5GB unless we introduce a new offer on this package." -> I haven't advised that your data will drop at the end of the contract so I apologise if I made you feel like this was the case.

    @VodafoneUK and so...5 hours worth of phone calls today with a number of different people & no one has any authority to sort ANYTHING OUT! 22 years as a loyal customer & you couldn’t give two shits!! I now have to wait 2 days for a manager to call me! Just wow @VodafoneUK

    @therealkarene @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly the same happened to my Mum when she tried to cancel my Dads number after he passed away! They would only talk to him! After we had eventually sorted it, all other accounts were cancelled, will never use them again.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry for your loss, when my father in law passed away last year, I called up a network who uses these as their carrier only to be asked if I wanted to upgrade. Compassion is rare these days. Hope you get it sorted it shouldn’t have been this difficult

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Im having a similar problem leaving virgin media - asking questions I can’t answer then refusing to cancel my contract as I can’t prove it’s me - even though they rang me!!! - but they are still billing me even though I’m not using their service. Had 4 calls like that now. 😡

    @VodafoneUK @speckyninja My daughter returned home to the States so I cancelled her Vodafone account. Never had the ‘final bill’ they insisted had been sent to me (that I never received) - just straight to a debt collection agency and threatening letters! .

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same thing happened to us. They never canceled the account when requested and then appointed a debt collector to recover a 150 euro. Absolute disgrace

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I can only imagine how distressing it is having to deal with a company as inept as @VodafoneUK whilst grieving. Many companies seem to employ rude, incompetent uncaring people these days, but it’s one thing vodafone can say they excel at. So sorry to you George.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry to hear this and condolences. Also lost my mother earlier this year, and phoned @Plusnet to cancel her Internet service. Very helpful and cancelled without charge as should be expected in these circumstances.
