Finally ditching @bt_uk after 6 years. Example: movie we are watching has stalled five times in the last 30 mins. Although got to admit @skytv aren’t covering themselves in glory. But who would be mad enough to believe BT’s ridiculous TV adverts: absolutely **** service.

  • JackridRob Rob Jack (@JackridRob) reported from Eastleigh, England

Last night I couldn't watch #ChampionsLeague as #BT kept telling me I needed to upgrade my package. Phoned advisor who gave me bullshite answer it was down to performance rights! Today I get message; issue fixed! None of my issues are fixed #BTSport I missed the match....

  • ameliajoyclark AJC 🌸 (@ameliajoyclark) reported from Southampton, England

@bt_uk @AndrewExplainer So let me get this straight, not only providing poor service but denying you're even providing the poor service while the customer is in the middle of it?

@bt_uk I am exhausted at attempting to get signal in a small house to reach every room. After having problems with disc, the replacement doesn't want to work either. Aaaaaargh! From reading forums I am not the only one! #BT you are letting me down.....

  • MPowell_1991 Michael Powell (@MPowell_1991) reported from Fareham, England

All this "apologising for bad language" is unnecessary from the commentators. There's no fans in the stands. It's nothing that kids haven't heard in the school playground before. Honestly, why is society full of so many snowflakes? #ARSBUR #btsport @btsport #PremierLeague

  • tim_roebuck Tim Roebuck (@tim_roebuck) reported from Lymington, England

@btsport why do I pay for your channels with BT Broadband and its still the shittest veiwing experience ever. And if my Broadband speed is ****. Dont sell me the service

  • JackridRob Rob Jack (@JackridRob) reported from Eastleigh, England

@bt_uk That's funny I had good WiFi in every room when I last changed my contract a year ago then it declined now you can't cure my issues but you can guarantee WiFi in every room if I pay more money for something I've already had! #BroadbandThrottling #BT

  • BenSwann16 Benedict Swann #StayAlertSaveLives (@BenSwann16) reported from Portsmouth, England

@bt_uk Hi, apologies I missed the notification. It seems to be back to its whizzy speed now. Still very happy with BT. Really impressed with your customer service, thank you for checking up.

  • ChrisGreenCG Chris Green (@ChrisGreenCG) reported from Portsmouth, England

@bt_uk it’s really poor when you phone for help and the call centre yell at you and when you ask to speak with a manager they hang up. Come on BT train your staff better.

  • MichaelSteele18 Michael Steele (@MichaelSteele18) reported from Fareham, England

@bt_uk But @bt_uk this is the issue, I spoke to Mcaffee yesterday and they are clear that I need BT support for the products supplied by BT and even gave me the phone number! The BT Web Protect app on Windows support link is to the BT support site. Please advise / resolve.

  • Mark__Eadie Mark (@Mark__Eadie) reported from Fareham, England

Not gonna lie, @bt_uk really is utter dross. *Every* week we lose of connection. Thank God we are out of contract and can move on. Simply ******* awful company. Don’t bother responding with helpful-sounding tweets. Anyone who chooses you as their provider is insane.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TheTimMonroe Tim Monroe (@TheTimMonroe) reported

@bt_uk Yes, eventually, 2 weeks ago. But they say they can help, but by end of the 3 calls they said they couldn’t. Said no managers were available to handle our complaint as he’d gone home at 4.30pm and that calls couldn’t be transferred anyway! By a telecoms Co! We’re done with BT 👋

  • ilopezcard Ingrid Lopez Cardona (@ilopezcard) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk Have been trying many weekends and weekdays to contact you for issues with my TV. No response. App support is useless as it does not describe the box I have. Issue since box installed last year. No way to have it fixed. Might leave BT as the response rate is zero

  • sallywillihunt Sally Hunt (shuntincider) 💙 (@sallywillihunt) reported

@bt_uk how do I check if problem with broadband in my area

  • hairagon charles c (hairagon) (@hairagon) reported

@dvotee @bt_uk @virginmedia I had a similar issue with BT. I opted for fibre and received esimates for the speed i would get. Engineer came and fitted a new phone line but none for the broadband. After several calls and confirmation of speed to my area it turned out that fibre was not available in my area

  • ImagesSam Sam SipSam Images (@ImagesSam) reported

@bt_uk You’re a joke of a company. I have a download speed of 4 and no home line. After 3 engineer visits now to be told the problem is outside of our property, since you have done absolutely nothing. I’ve written to my MP and the CEO of BT. Who knows it might jolt you all up.

  • alrhodes2309 Alan (@alrhodes2309) reported

@bt_uk All I am saying is that why don't you have contracts which last one year or even monthly? Having to agree to something for two years and to unknown price changes without being able to cancel is isn't fair.

  • markisraney Mark Israney (@markisraney) reported

No internet in the neighbourhood for a second day and can barely use phone data (EE). @bt_uk very helpfully said that they could send a temporary 4G device to solve the problem, but only if I took the opportunity to upgrade my contract. This country is broken.

  • AILAHT0909 Algar Goredema-Braid (@AILAHT0909) reported

Day 7 and the BT Broadband outage is still not fixed by @bt_uk The text message yesterday was to make it look it’s a recurring fault when in actuality it has not been fixed since the outage at 10:34 Sat 15-Oct-2022. Appalling Great inconvenience & cost

  • fantasticdrfox Christopher Fox 🇺🇦 (@fantasticdrfox) reported

@bt_uk My broadband connection went down yesterday morning and you say it won’t be fixed until next Tuesday? How is this possible in 2022? #digitalbritain #nonsense

  • edjlane Ed Lane (@edjlane) reported

@bt_uk Is that the official BT position on loyal customers? To treat them worse than new customers?
