Dalriada (@Mark__Eadie) reported from Fareham, England@bt_uk Long litany of failures, broken promises, endless calls with call centres. Ditched you for @skytv who are almost as bad. All big corporations are just dreadful these days though. Chasing the lowest cost possible. It’s not just you though. I despise most of them now.

Chris Green (@ChrisGreenCG) reported from Portsmouth, England@bt_uk it’s really poor when you phone for help and the call centre yell at you and when you ask to speak with a manager they hang up. Come on BT train your staff better.
-
Junquet (@JunquetbySolent) reported from Gosport, England@bt_uk Thank you BT - NOT I’ve wasted 30mins trying to sort email on iPhone which I now find is a BTYahoo issue. Why don’t you put an error message on Mybt app - the first place I looked - as well as webpage
-
SaintM (@SaintMikeB) reported from Wickham, England@BTCare a bit of feedback: when a customer raises a complaint over the phone, don’t try to deal with it via text message. It really doesn’t give the impression you want to solve things, more that you can’t even be bothered to give them a call and speak to them.
-
Robbieblake (@Blake1976Rob) reported from Portsmouth, EnglandPete Walton said it was a pen. Never ever kicked a ball in his life. Absolutely clueless and he’s working for @btsport sums it up.

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

CM (@Caldale58) reported@bt_uk is there ever a day when your products actually work for a whole day. If it's not the unstable app continually throwing you out, it's accessing MyBT. Why does anyone stay with you. Totally exasperated again.
-
Clive MacDonald (@clivemacd) reported@bt_uk The login process to my BT account this morning was a bad experience. 20 minutes to log in going round and round with the same security questions.
-
Mark Howell (@MarkTheSnap) reportedSo, this new digital voice from @bt_uk If the internet is down you can't use your landline. Guess what, the internet is down so we don't have a phone. We can't get a mobile signal in our area, that's why we have a landline. This is progress apparently.
-
Paul stagg (@Staggly) reported@bt_uk are you not contractually supposed to prove a bill? if you won’t let me log in to my account or let me reset passwords etc to get access and still can’t fix this issue after a week surely that’s breach? i will cancel my direct debit until i can access my bills
