Finally ditching @bt_uk after 6 years. Example: movie we are watching has stalled five times in the last 30 mins. Although got to admit @skytv aren’t covering themselves in glory. But who would be mad enough to believe BT’s ridiculous TV adverts: absolutely **** service.

  • AbbieAwdas A (@AbbieAwdas) reported from Fareham, England

@btsport might just cancel my contract if you keep charging for games. No point having it anymore

  • Mark__Eadie Dalriada (@Mark__Eadie) reported from Fareham, England

I actually wonder if the directors of these shitfest companies actually know how truly dreadful it is to be a customer? I’m once wrote a 5 page letter and posted it to the Chairman of @bt_uk. I explained exactly what it was like.

  • Mark__Eadie Mark (@Mark__Eadie) reported from Fareham, England

Not gonna lie, @bt_uk really is utter dross. *Every* week we lose of connection. Thank God we are out of contract and can move on. Simply ******* awful company. Don’t bother responding with helpful-sounding tweets. Anyone who chooses you as their provider is insane.

  • trudson Trudy Cocker (@trudson) reported from Horndean, England

@btbusinesscare I was, on 4th March, contacted by who I thought was EE telling me you had merged with them. And they could save me money on our BT Sport and broadband with no charge. We were billed with £96 cancellation fee. Our account was fraudulently changed to business. Help

  • SImonPegg5 SImon Pegg (@SImonPegg5) reported from Chichester, England

@bt_uk Why does my WiFi always drop when it rains ? Been doing it for years and you've never resolved the problem.

  • nickj76 Nick Jenkins (@nickj76) reported from Easebourne, England

@bt_uk why do I bother paying a premium for your services when my internet spends more time down than up😠😠 3 open reach engineers are in my road doing god knows, what the betting one of them has ****** up my connection again 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

  • timpaa Timothy Collinson (@timpaa) reported from Hill Head, England

@bt_uk @AndrewExplainer So let me get this straight, not only providing poor service but denying you're even providing the poor service while the customer is in the middle of it?

  • LawrencePFCHall Lawrence Hall (@LawrencePFCHall) reported from Portsmouth, England

@Peter_Dawe @btsport @btsportfootball I have it through EE yet doesn’t work on the app or browser right now. Terrible to be honest

  • MichaelSteele18 Michael Steele (@MichaelSteele18) reported from Fareham, England

@bt_uk But @bt_uk this is the issue, I spoke to Mcaffee yesterday and they are clear that I need BT support for the products supplied by BT and even gave me the phone number! The BT Web Protect app on Windows support link is to the BT support site. Please advise / resolve.

  • RevMthrSamantha Rev/Mthr Samantha Martell SCP (@RevMthrSamantha) reported from Gosport, England

HOW are @bt_uk SO incompeptent?! Phone line is broken at the exchange and they offer no solution. We have no way for vulnerable parishioners to contact us!!

  • MPowell_1991 Michael Powell (@MPowell_1991) reported from Fareham, England

All this "apologising for bad language" is unnecessary from the commentators. There's no fans in the stands. It's nothing that kids haven't heard in the school playground before. Honestly, why is society full of so many snowflakes? #ARSBUR #btsport @btsport #PremierLeague

  • C1Catherine Catherine (@C1Catherine) reported from Portsmouth, England

@btbusinesscare I don’t know why we pay the money we do for our business line when we have so much problem with our internet and phone lines! Without internet and phones again! Been without since 14th aug and cant get an engineer until 5th September!

  • StephenPay1970 StephenTHFC (@StephenPay1970) reported from Chichester, England

@jasonj827 @NOWSport @btsport No. Done it before. Paid £20 for rubbish signal.

  • StephenPay1970 StephenTHFC (@StephenPay1970) reported from Chichester, England

@Moby_Spurs @NOWSport @btsport It’s terrible really. Like watching a dodgy stream. Might just go back to sky.

  • ChrisGreenCG Chris Green (@ChrisGreenCG) reported from Portsmouth, England

@bt_uk it’s really poor when you phone for help and the call centre yell at you and when you ask to speak with a manager they hang up. Come on BT train your staff better.

  • Mark__Eadie Dalriada (@Mark__Eadie) reported from Fareham, England

@bt_uk Long litany of failures, broken promises, endless calls with call centres. Ditched you for @skytv who are almost as bad. All big corporations are just dreadful these days though. Chasing the lowest cost possible. It’s not just you though. I despise most of them now.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CeriMorgan Ceri (@CeriMorgan) reported

@bt_uk hi, we're paying for Sky Sports via Now TV as part of the Big Sport package but it constantly freezes whenever we watch anything (50 mins into a football match & it's frozen twice). When will this be fixed please? It's been terrible for months so may need to switch to Sky.

  • NineTento TenToNine (@NineTento) reported

@mayhemstories @bt_uk Wish I could. I'm stuck with BT as they are the best of a bad bunch. Not lucky enough to get Virgin Media where I live.

  • nathanrob__ NathanRobinson (@nathanrob__) reported

Ive not had my @bt_uk broadband properly since Thursday. With no estimated fix time/date, I am unsure if the streams will happen this week. Please bare with me whilst I try and get it sorted and apologises for lack of being in streams 😔

  • ArrEssVeeTwin Mike Fisher (@ArrEssVeeTwin) reported

Apologies to anyone seeing my anti @bt_uk rants this morning. I just want them to cancel my account and go away. And they won't.

  • NTFS001 John McHale (@NTFS001) reported

@bt_uk So I’m going to be without broadband for 5 days because someone at BT brought forward the transfer by 5 days without telling Sky and OpenReach but nobody at BT or @OpenReachhelp or @SkyBroadband will take ownership of the problem. Abysmal CS from all 3 companies.

  • KarolLabaj Karol (@KarolLabaj) reported

@bt_uk can you plz fix internet i have 2k ms in my ranked games thanks

  • wired2thebrink Alan (@wired2thebrink) reported

@AliEdwardking @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk It's one of two things 1. BT a while back discretly closed a lot of broadband options ,they created a new set but didn't existing customers and kept customers on same charges but bumped them down a level on thier new scale. 2. Your service is faulty and they owe you speed refunds

  • ArrEssVeeTwin Mike Fisher (@ArrEssVeeTwin) reported

@bt_uk @OmbudServices FINALLY!!!! Account cancelled, goodwill payment offered. (I will donate it to charity) but why does it take a twitter rant to resolve this stuff? A call to CUSTOMER SERVICES should suffice. Alannah wherever you are, YOU ARE WONDERFUL!! BT, you....not so much!!

  • AliEdwardking Alex Edward King (@AliEdwardking) reported

@bt_uk @OpenreachHelp why is since 2020 to now I keep on getting blot neck when Dslam is fully been I am getting 35-40mbps down when I paid for 60mbp down and back in 2018 and 2019 I was getting anywhere 60 to 63mbp down

  • WimperisDesigns Niamh Wimperis (@WimperisDesigns) reported from Hammersmith, England

@bt_uk Hi Rita, we’ve already done that, on the 7th. They detected a fault, and said the estimate fix date is the 12th. That’s an unacceptable timeline, and too long to go without any WiFi.
