@BTCare @OpenreachHelp Appreciate they are a busy team, totally get that, but they knew about our go-live on the 1st and had done for at least 2 weeks. We’re no pre-checks done, before the concierge service got in touch to say it’s all ok, we’re moving your on 1st.

  • jabranmsa
Jamie Brandwood (@jabranmsa) reported from Freshford, England

@BTCare @OpenreachHelp Would becoming a Business customer get us any quicker turn around? A review 5 days on from our supposed go-live is not acceptable, especially when we don’t know what that ‘review’ consists of. What is the review, in technical detail? We’re paying for a service we don’t have.

  • jabranmsa
Jamie Brandwood (@jabranmsa) reported from Freshford, England

@BTCare My housemate was told there were no lines available, there would be a review on the 6th, but that means nothing, what does a review mean? We need it sorting, @OpenreachHelp, can you assist please? You told me yesterday to speak to my ISP (BT) but it’s an issue your side.

  • jabranmsa
Jamie Brandwood (@jabranmsa) reported from Freshford, England

@BTCare This is costing us money, my housemate has kids so works from home to support them. But can’t because of no internet. This needs sorting.

@BTCare Hi Paula, no, all we heard was there is a ‘review’ on the 6th, 5 days after we were supposed to go live. ... the communication has been poor, we have had to ring to get updates, if they are out of lines in the CAB whats going to happen to get us connected? A new card? 1/2

  • jabranmsa
Jamie Brandwood (@jabranmsa) reported from Freshford, England

@BTCare We don’t know unfortunately, as have only just move in, I’m guessing it would have done between us and the previous tenants, but I could say how long, I have all the account details and address if that would help?.

  • jabranmsa
Jamie Brandwood (@jabranmsa) reported from Freshford, England

@BTCare Hi Ash, thanks for the quick response, no, we had initially received texts from the concierge service saying, moving date coming soon etc. But my housemate had to ring up to find any update on the Monday when we expected the go-live, I had taken the day off work. 1/2

@BTCare One of the messages i recieved at 2pm was the apology text from RyanAir offering voucher details for our 2.5hr delayed flight. Which i never received as it didnt deliver at the time when i was using airport free wifi. So how do i claim back for non service?

  • CREADCyf
    Stephen Edwards (@CREADCyf) reported

@BTCare Ive done as the last link told me from your collegue, renameing the other channel.... non are coming up on any devices. Its obvious that the wiffi link from device cant oick up the hub wiffi, so the problem is in the hub

  • jingo67
    davie🥓🧡💙hay (@jingo67) reported

@BTCare No your colleague blamed local network and suggested a move locations to try different areas as i was reliant on any free wifi. All this i tried but phone never picked any network up auto or manually. I arrived back in the UK and instant network. No tech advice.

@BTCare yes it is - I can access via the web, but I cannot work effectively like this - again @bt_uk is letting its customers down - my support call and this twitter conversation are like a comedy sketch of rubbish #tech #support #failure if I wasn't losing work time, it would be funny

  • wearenosmirk
    Joe (@wearenosmirk) reported

@BTCare I have a complaint logged, but I've also got an engineer booked, so surely they will come out first regardless because the service is useless without all the kit being setup?

  • wearenosmirk
    Joe (@wearenosmirk) reported

@BTCare As far as I know the previous occupants already had fibre installed, so I don't know why that would be the problem. Could you find the actual problem? It feels like we're being left in the dark here.
