@bt_uk I was promised a call last night between 17:00 and 19:00 and no call came - basic customer service would dictate that if you promise a call, you call.

@bt_uk I have been a BT customer for years without complaint. Now, as I try to get my broadband moved to my new property, the service has been dreadful and I’m done with BT. Last straw, the promised call this evening that didn’t materialise despite a text promising it. Disaster!

@joetracey7 @PippaCrerar @bt_uk There are several providers who run their own circuits, often now fibre, but also copper into customer premises. You also need to clearly differentiate BT Openreach from BT consumer (who made the offer to DfE). They are NOT the same company, have extensive regulation between

@chewystuey @PippaCrerar @bt_uk It’s my understanding openreach own the lines including fibre (apart from virgin) and service and maintain them. I understand the difference between BT consumer and openreach however ultimately owned by same over arching company.

@bt_uk Jenny it doesn’t tell me when , others in the village can get it, my neighbours and I can’t . In this lock down working from home and kids now off school, BT should be doing more , it’s not acceptable that it’s a postcode lottery in 2021. Been waiting years!!

@PippaCrerar @bt_uk BT isn't 100% (no provider is) but it's pretty good. 3 of us WFH since March with minimum 6 devices & TV using it all the time. Few problems.

My Internet has gone unstable again. It's the copper wire connection in the road. I may be offline for long periods. @bt_uk are very good about fixing it, but limited by what they can do with 40 yr-old infrastructure. I absolutely depend on broadband. No mobile signal here. 1/2

@bt_uk I’m using the checker on the ‘now’ tv box when the internet slows down and the picture begins to pixelate. Afterwards I did it again and it was up to 7mbps. It’s intermittent drop of signal, very frustration g.

@PippaCrerar @bt_uk "BT Hotspot" is piggy-backing on other people's BT Broadband service. It would only work for a household if one of your neighbours is with BT, hasn't opted out of Hotspot, doesn't turn their router off, and it's in range. It's not nothing but I can see why DfE turned it down.
