@broadsgirl @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp Glad it’s sorted but very frustrating. Our internet stopped every time the thermostat kicked in. Engineer replaced thermostat with one that didn’t have worn wires, when I told him that it was the issue but problem came back. Now have a digital thermostat and working internet.

  • scoop2far Matt (@scoop2far) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk how is it that when you own the backbone of broadband in the uk you still manage to provide service levels so far below any of your rivals? 2 weeks of failing service and no response from BT... rubbish

  • CJCliffe_FCIPS Chris Cliffe FCIPS (@CJCliffe_FCIPS) reported from Norwich, England

@bt_uk lost broadband in Norwich NR6. Fault found... ...but an update by Thursday 17th??? Seriously, the last thing I need in 2020 is broadband to fail. Please, get a move on.

  • GeordieCanary Dave Montgomery (@GeordieCanary) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

So. It appears that #virginwifi has gone down. Thank goodness I am with @bt_uk providing a seamless connection. I can’t recall my Wi-fi ever dropping. Champion.

  • rolledchef rolledchef87 (@rolledchef) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

@davie19tour @btsport 😛 you are easily the worst team to watch in England. Which is extremely sad thinking of the man utd teams I watched as a kid. Also I fully expect everyone to beat us 4-0 mate haha we spent nothing

  • doughtagnan Steve Gray (@doughtagnan) reported from Westhall, England

@jeffreyjohnbell @bt_uk Whenever you get a work culture that's dominated by males you get the "laddish" macho bullshit. At 18 I worked in an office in the Met largely staffed by over 50's ladies. Those old gels were so lovely to work with and some of my best managers have been female. The worst blokes.

  • SeanGreentree Sean Greentree (@SeanGreentree) reported from Attleborough, England

I’m beginning to think that I’ve made a bad choice in @BTCare. 5 lunch hours in a row trying to get my old Premium email account transferred to my new Broadband account. Email now suspended, so made a complaint. Told I’d get a call back in hours. 5 hours on and I’m still waiting!

  • SeanGreentree Sean Greentree (@SeanGreentree) reported from Attleborough, England

@bt_uk I haven’t. But will give it a go. However, my old Premium account is suspended as I was told to cancel the DD on that when I took the new account out - as I’d get it free. But that hasn’t stopped the payment chasers and hence eventual suspension. I’ve explained this many times!

  • SoundwaveXI Soundwave (@SoundwaveXI) reported

@hibernoanglais @bt_uk @Hyperoptic I see nothing but negative posts around Hyperoptic and their service, despite offering a really attractive package. Their service area is also tiny. Worth some research.

  • jand1987 Jamie Anderson (@jand1987) reported

@bt_uk No. The online chat was saying it was our fault then finally spoke to a human being and admitted there add an outage and it would be Tuesday at the earliest. We are still without internet and been trying to contact the company but left to wait for over 50 minutes

@bt_uk Nope, and no call-back from the text help thing either. That’ll be over 12hrs without internet now. Bet we’ll still be charged for a whole month though…

  • icemark Chris Wild (@icemark) reported

@bt_uk Looks like broadband is proper barfed in my area - 36 hours estimated fix time! My Halo package suggests you should be sending me a mini hub to keep me connected - but your phone wait times are impossible to penetrate. So how do I go about getting back connected?

  • BexLuth0r Tribecca ™ (@BexLuth0r) reported

@bt_uk can you explain why, as a current customer, the upgrades/offers you can offer me are over £50 a month however if I was a new customer in the area I would get it free until 2023 and then only pay £30.99 a month. Make it make sense please?? Why can I not access this offer?

  • LeeAnneBudd6 Lee-Anne Budd (@LeeAnneBudd6) reported

@bt_uk @davidoslive We have been down since Sunday evening - we are in shared offices in Minstead so number doesn't register with BT .. tried to login with other office numbers and it doesn't accept it - there is no help at all at the moment and our business is suffering
