Have @btsport never seen anyone block a shot before? *******

  • bloody56 John Blood (@bloody56) reported from Clifton, England

@bt_uk bt needs to do something to fix the abysmal track fault on its website. It's a complete waste of time. It tells you nothing other than you reported it. Fault in progress (we aim to fix this by the end of date 4 working days away). You have to ring up for an explanation.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk I was supposed to receive a call on 23/24, I was then advised it was scheduled for yesterday. I’ve still not received that call and my complaint has not been dealt with. You continue to excel at poor customer service

  • barmylad34 leigh.butler 💙 (@barmylad34) reported from Derbyshire, England

Anyone else having trouble with BTTv going off this evening in the Derby area? @bt_uk or is that just me?

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk what time are you open today? I was expecting a call this morning to sort out my broadband issues which are due to your incompetence. As yet I’ve heard nothing

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@DebKnibbs @bt_uk I shall certainly be taking my custom elsewhere. I can’t believe how poor the service is.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

If it wasn’t bad enough that @bt_uk cancelled our broadband connection when it should have transferred to them in 15 Dec. Besides telling me there is no way to connect us for Christmas, I now receive an email this morning asking to return the BT equipment. You couldn’t make it up

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

If you’re considering using @bt_uk for phone and broadband, I would advise you don’t bother. Should have been connected on 15 Dec, I’m now told that I won’t have a connection until 6 Jan. I’ve never received such poor service and they don’t even seem to care

  • Gharri74 Gillian Harrison (@Gharri74) reported from Parwich, England

@bt_uk my husband died January 2020, logged onto the account today as you still have his email as the login and it addressed me by his name. So for 12 months you’ve been emailing a dead person. I rang last Year to change the contract to myself and provided death details.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@mattharvey07 @bt_uk They just don’t care, they want the money but treat their customers like they are an inconvenience

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk don’t connect us on 15 Dec. Disconnect the line on 23 Dec. Told I will receive a call on 23/24 to talk about my complaint. Now told we’ll be connected 6 Jan. Also told I’ll not now receive a call until 29 Dec. Such incompetence and disregard for paying customers

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk Funnily enough no. I also didn’t receive a call two days ago as promised, to speak to me about my complaint. The service I’ve received has been nothing short of very poor. I still have no telephone line or broadband, cut off by BT and openreach on 23 Dec

  • scottbcomedyuk scottbcomedyuk (@scottbcomedyuk) reported from Beeston, England

@bt_uk our broadband is appalling. Children homeschooled and parents working from home. We’re on the best package and still can only get 0.8 upload. Having to spend a fortune on data to get by. We don’t want to leave but we feel we have no choice now. We need a proper service.

  • bloody56 John Blood (@bloody56) reported from Clifton, England

@bt_uk Hello, BT here. We're sorry it's taking longer than we thought to fix your fault. The engineers need to do some further work on your line and this is scheduled for 21/01. We'll be back in touch on 23/01 with an update. What time today? VOL013-555360829507

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

Awful service from @bt_uk broadband supposed to transfer 15 Dec. Didn’t. Today broadband and phone dead. Apparently no way of connecting before Christmas. Once it goes live again, I will be changing to a better provider as soon as possible.

  • BrambleMum 🌱💙Helen (@BrambleMum) reported from Matlock, England

@bt_uk we're changing supplier away from BT and getting a new phone number. The text BT have sent is odd "We recently called to let you know another customer wants to take over the phone line at your address on 18-Jun-2021. Please reply YES if you're OK..."

  • scottbcomedyuk scottbcomedyuk (@scottbcomedyuk) reported from Beeston, England

@bt_uk hello, please can you help. We are on the best package but have appalling upload speeds. Difficult to homeschool and work with. Don’t want to leave you but have no choice. @WeAreOpenreach need to put us on a fibre roll out in this area. We have no options at the moment.

  • d79design Steven Alan Wilson (@d79design) reported from Kilburn, England

Hey @BTCare our router keeps dropping connection. Can you help?

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@mattharvey07 @bt_uk At this rate I’ll be doing the same. Problem is they have cut me off so I have absolutely no phone line or broadband until they do something about it

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@mattharvey07 @bt_uk I already have, more than once. Though @bt_uk take around 45 mins to speak to you. I call Sky and get through almost straight away. I just can’t believe how they can be so bad

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • timbressington Tim Bressington (@timbressington) reported

@bt_uk Full Fibre 900 customer for over 4 years my bill is now over £77/month, for new customers it’s £54.99/month and not willing to budge on price for me. Disgusting

  • esjaymo Sarah🌙 (@esjaymo) reported

@bt_uk I have to point my phone at my router to get MY WiFi. I leave the room and it’s all over. Paying for a service you’re not providing is boring. Why? Because some new fangled line is being put in up the road and you want me to pay more for better service. Not how it works!

  • FinanDeborah Deborah Finan (@FinanDeborah) reported

@btbusinesscare phone lines are down again 22.30 at night. Someone in BT is having a laugh at my expense. 3 times now in the last 10 days. This is so bad.

  • FinanDeborah Deborah Finan (@FinanDeborah) reported

@btbusinesscare Please let me know when it is fixed so I can sort my phone divert in the morning when I am back in the office at 5am. I need my phones 24 hours a day. 3 times in the last 10 days is bad.

  • Lecco3 mufc_80 (@Lecco3) reported

At least I can cancel my @btsport subscription now.

  • deeserve deeserve (@deeserve) reported

It looks like we’ve just lost a couple of BTnet connections that we monitor in the Midlands (Birmingham and Leicestershire). If one goes down, we investigate… if two or more go down (and they’re 40+ miles apart geographically), we look towards @BTBusiness @btbusinesscare.. 😬

  • JackMur58861755 Jack Murray (@JackMur58861755) reported

@bt_uk why are you throttling YouTube?? I have just purchased bt fibre 900 and I am getting the top speeds but when I use YouTube it buffers and goes to a low resolution!!! You have to be throttling as when I switch to a VPN it works fine.

  • iMiMiMx Ed S (@iMiMiMx) reported

@deeserve @BTBusiness @btbusinesscare They've still not answered the phone yet, so something is definitely 'up' - routes through the BT network have been bouncing around a bit. All our ports are up, NTUs no alarms, just no traffic inbound to the port.
