  • MartinK1ng Martin King (@MartinK1ng) reported from Derbyshire, England

I don’t understand how @bt_uk can keep customers on hold for over 2 hours. (Still on hold!) be passed off by 3 different team members. No ownership at all and when I believed it was being owned it was a sales pitch when my complaint wasn’t resolved. Shocking service

  • jfagej Jason Fage (@jfagej) reported from Chesterfield, England

@ProducerScott It’s a @btsport issue they had the same issues last week #villageservice

  • shelbybol b (@shelbybol) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk Hi, I’d like to cancel an installation engineer visit as the broadband is already up and running due to there already being a phone line - i’ve tried contacting by phone but lines are all busy. Thanks in advance!

  • chrish11072 chris holmes (@chrish11072) reported from Matlock, England

@btbusinesscare where do I make a complaint to? Your website is useless!! ( that’s not my complaint)

  • CraigHammerton Craig Hammerton (@CraigHammerton) reported from South Normanton, England

@bt_uk shocking service BT been trying to resolve an ongoing WiFi issue (3 years now).... only to be cut off after another 1.5 hours on the phone

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk don’t connect us on 15 Dec. Disconnect the line on 23 Dec. Told I will receive a call on 23/24 to talk about my complaint. Now told we’ll be connected 6 Jan. Also told I’ll not now receive a call until 29 Dec. Such incompetence and disregard for paying customers

  • Gav1981 Gav (@Gav1981) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk A car has crashed into the service box on Smalley Drive in Derby... I’m hoping to his is in hand and will be fixed ASAP?

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

If it wasn’t bad enough that @bt_uk cancelled our broadband connection when it should have transferred to them in 15 Dec. Besides telling me there is no way to connect us for Christmas, I now receive an email this morning asking to return the BT equipment. You couldn’t make it up

  • JohnBarcock Call the Martini Police (@JohnBarcock) reported from Barlborough, England

Typical @bt_uk service, put 30 days notice to leave in a few days ago and now my fibre is suddenly 1/3 of the speed it should be. I’m still paying for this you know! 50mb below my ‘stay fast’ guarantee too

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@DebKnibbs @bt_uk I shall certainly be taking my custom elsewhere. I can’t believe how poor the service is.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk what time are you open today? I was expecting a call this morning to sort out my broadband issues which are due to your incompetence. As yet I’ve heard nothing

  • jfagej Jason Fage (@jfagej) reported from Chesterfield, England

@btsportfootball @btsport @GaryLineker you wouldn’t mind if you were not paying £25 a month for it but can BT Sport get the crowd noise on please ? Same average service as last week

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

Awful service from @bt_uk broadband supposed to transfer 15 Dec. Didn’t. Today broadband and phone dead. Apparently no way of connecting before Christmas. Once it goes live again, I will be changing to a better provider as soon as possible.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

If you’re considering using @bt_uk for phone and broadband, I would advise you don’t bother. Should have been connected on 15 Dec, I’m now told that I won’t have a connection until 6 Jan. I’ve never received such poor service and they don’t even seem to care

  • simon_ferrar Simon Ferrar (@simon_ferrar) reported from Derbyshire, England

so by email is down and has been for at least 45 minutes - nothing on BT twitter or website. Lots of people asking the same question. Any response @bt_uk

  • craftyandcute Joanna (@craftyandcute) reported from Derbyshire, England

Appalled that @bt_uk are so uncaring in the event of a death in the family. Closing down an email account that I need to access to help sort my darling dad’s many other accounts is so unhelpful and causing me undue distress at the worst possible time. Will never use them again.

  • RickCrawley Rick Crawley (@RickCrawley) reported from Mayfield, England

@bt_uk hi, my fttp broadband speed is very erratic and generally below my guarantee. Been like this since end September. There was a service problem reported in my area, but said resolved 4 days ago. Have restarted hub twice. No improvement.

  • james7baker James Baker (@james7baker) reported from Derbyshire, England

@bt_uk Funnily enough no. I also didn’t receive a call two days ago as promised, to speak to me about my complaint. The service I’ve received has been nothing short of very poor. I still have no telephone line or broadband, cut off by BT and openreach on 23 Dec

  • Lovemebird Sharooby 🌹🇪🇺🌍 (@Lovemebird) reported from Ilkeston, England

@bt_uk Day 14 in the no BT  Broadband House. Customer services are absolutely appalling. BT Wholesale are clueless and everyone seems incapable of fixing the issue caused by a department within BT.

  • Lovemebird Sharooby 🌹🇪🇺🌍 (@Lovemebird) reported from Ilkeston, England

@bt_uk Day 16 in the NO BT Broadband House and still a lack of updates and progress to fix a customer fault caused by a BT department. Do you think if I took my car to a garage and they damaged it they would leave it or be embarrassed and fix it? #badservice

  • jaisullivan Jai Sullivan (@jaisullivan) reported

@bt_uk Hi Alannah OK - thanks for the quick response. Why doesn't it say this in any of your email comms so that people can prepare? It just says 'there might be a short break in service'. My definition of short isn't hours or most of the day?

  • DaveKarikas Dave (@DaveKarikas) reported

@bt_uk Hi I have wifi calling enabled but it's so poor I keep dropping out. I'm sitting right beside the router (new router) and I'm on a FTTP connection. Does something on my BT account need to be activated so wifi calling works?

  • craiginscotland Craig Arthur 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@craiginscotland) reported

So @bt_uk have a link in my account to renew my contract, still 6 months left, but had a look. I can get 900mb as a new customer for £46. An upgrade through “my account” was best part of £30 more. Every single package cost way, way more. Guess I’ll be leaving in February.

  • jaisullivan Jai Sullivan (@jaisullivan) reported

@bt_uk It’s still not activated. That means unable to work from home, unable to use TV, CCTV down— the list goes on & all on a Friday night. What are we waiting until midnight for exactly? Surely it’s something that can be manually activated? Really need to get better at this.

  • KevinLockyer3 Kevin Lockyer (@KevinLockyer3) reported

Never fear, says @bt_uk, we will reschedule and send out a full team to do everything. So at 0830 today, a single engineer arrives, briefed to do a simple install from the nearest pole. He scratches his head, makes some calls and gives us the bad (but not unexpected) news...

  • JasonL_PH Jplph (@JasonL_PH) reported

@bt_uk hi BT, can you please advise? Not a customer but believe contractors may have scratched my car. Customer services ask for acc no. Manage to get through to accounts(?) Who put me on hold then get cut off

@bt_uk Hi, FTTP was installed early this morning, I'm still waiting for it to be activated. Not great given I am working from home. Is there anything you can do to speed this up please? An hour loss of service is acceptable when changing products, but not all day.

  • JillCollier16 Jill Collier 🟥 (@JillCollier16) reported

@btbusinesscare Our hi speed fibre optic business broadband went down this morning after an openreach engineer (who has now left) was seen in the underground box in the street. We are advised to be at the premises and available to fix it for 20 mins before ringing. We have a …

  • KevinLockyer3 Kevin Lockyer (@KevinLockyer3) reported

Never fear, reply @bt_uk, it's just a system error. Everything's fine and you can order away. So we do. An engineer attends on 30 July to install. He cannot because the connection point is 100m away and he has not enough fibre, no hoist and there is only one of him...
