    So, after following instructions from @BTCare , my online account access breaks. Three contacts later, inc a delayed callback, I’m told there’s an issue affecting “many customers”, but no answer as to why they couldn’t have said that this morning.

    @livesurfcams @btbusinesscare I guess my point was that these things can be worked round, my banks seem to manage it. Also, if there is a known issue this would save a lot of agg if the issue was communicated.

    @rem @virginmedia happy with @bt_uk broadban good router with 3 mesh discs, we have had FTP for many years and get about 30 Mbps upload with 150 download. mobile fall back if line fail. expensive but do get BT mobile deal as well. good support.

    @bt_uk I am confused why a problem that BT caused which means I have no phone or broadband requires me to wait 72 hours before contacting BT again to start to get this resolved? Some rubbish able the status of an account can't be changed for 72 hours after previous charge?

    @bt_uk At this still goes on after cutting me off an hour and half on the phone raising a complaint. Signing up as a new customer. BT still charge me the full amount of my old bill. Although apparently I’m no longer a customer. #useless

    @bt_uk I have not yet reported the faults as my husband (who has terminal brain cancer) was having a very bad few days and I need to care for him.

    @bt_uk I called to cancel my broadband and mobile last Thursday, was told that my account was blocked so needed to unblock by the back office and I would receive an email in the next few days to confirm that my cancellation was taken into account. I haven't received anything yet.
