Would like to keep it but business ( now sold ) leaving BT. Have had BT at home for 20 years. Surely must be possible???

If its covered there you're legal expenses insurer will pay for the damage to be repaired allowing you to pick the folks that fix it. Then your insurer can have the hassle of chasing BT to get their money back. Worth a phone call.

The guy explained the 30 day notice period (despite being out of contract) and that services would cease on 25th August. Spent time between web chat and call, got activated for 30 days and now received email internet up and running 4g disabled so have no internet again.

Chris (@tringgooner) reported@bt_uk I think anyone would be unhappy don’t you? Messed around, then asked for a £20 deposit to that you will hold onto for up to 6 months. It’s a bloody disgrace. That is no way to treat any customer. And you know it.
